Center Academy - Maitland

The mission of Center Academy is to provide students with a learning environment that facilitates the development of self-confidence, motivation, and academic skills, and gives students the opportunity to achieve success in life.
It is often difficult for a child to maintain self-esteem when his/her learning requirements differ from other students in school.
Therefore, we offer a highly structured educational program in an atmosphere that is familiar, understanding, nurturing, and supportive.

My son started Center Academy in 6th grade; he is now in 9th, and we could not be happier with our decision to place him here. The growth we have seen over the years, both academically and socially, has been beyond our expectations. All of the staff have been accommodating and cheerleaders to my son. I highly recommend Center Academy to any parents looking for a school that teaches to the unique learning abilities of the student population.

The administration and staff at Center Academy Maitland are wonderful! They have an innovative and encouraging approach to education that engages the student with a love of learning. My son was struggling in his previous school and did not want to go. The progress I have seen this year in him is amazing.! He is not set aside when he cannot keep up. They know him and what he needs and have created a plan that works for him. I truly appreciate this school and the caring staff!.

CA-M is the best school! Teaching and administrative staff are very professional. They really care about students' success, individually and in group as a community. For the first time my children are so happy going to school and that's all for me. I immediately saw a huge progress. It's been an extraordinary experience!! We are blessed!!

We have really been happy at Center Academy! After a rough start at another school in 2018, we came here mid-year and immediately saw a difference! Since then, our son has really thrived and gets the support he needs. He actually likes going to school for the first time in years! The administration is caring and always available to answer questions or address concerns. Their ability to challenge each kid without overwhelming them is amazing!

My son has been attending Center Academy for 3 years. My heart broke when my elementary age son hated going to his previous school, grades were dropping and his overall self-esteem. Just over a few months I saw a HUGE difference in him. He actually wants to be at school 30 minutes early now. He has great friends and makes A's and B's. I can't describe in words how much mental stress this has saved me as a mother. I truly consider this school to be like family.

I have found Center Academy to be the best school for providing an individual educational plan for students with learning differences. They truly customize a program for each subject based on your child's needs. The principal and teachers are extremely professional, kind and compassionate towards students and parents. My son is treated with respect, held accountable for his progress, works independently while getting all the individual support he needs to succeed. His progress in just two years at C.A. has been amazing. We are very excited about the new Maitland facility next year with its indoor gymnasium and lunch room. The kids are gonna love it!

My daughter has CAPD and Dyslexia. CA not only designed a individualized curriculum for her, but helped her make up a grade level lost in the public school system. With teachers that really care about their students success, one on one guidence, small class sizes, individual cubbies for each student, and an administrative staff dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential... I can think of no other school for my daughter.
