The mission of Center Academy is to provide students with a learning environment that facilitates the development of self-confidence, motivation, and academic skills, and gives students the opportunity to achieve success in life.
It is often difficult for a child to maintain self-esteem when his/her learning requirements differ from other students in school.
Therefore, we offer a highly structured educational program in an atmosphere that is familiar, understanding, nurturing, and supportive.
Center Academy helps students with average to above average intelligence who "fall through the cracks" in school, or who need special help with organization, motivation, and/or social skills.

Center Academy Prep is a dream come true for my family. My son struggled in both public and private schools before finding CAP. The organized and direct approach to academics is a straight path for almost any child`s success. The staff and teachers are kind and supportive. The environment is so comfortable and inviting therefore the growth and learning are endless. In the short time he has been at CAP, my son went from anxiety-ridden to a truant, doubtful little boy who put in little to no academic effort. His grades are now better than ever and most importantly he likes school! He attends school happily, he`s optimistic every day, and his confidence is shining. We could not be more pleased with CAP.

My son was being bullied in middle school and we had to remove him from that environment. He was diagnosed with high-functioning Aspergers and as I was researching for a smaller school that addressed that diagnosis, I came across Center Academy. It happened to be very close to our home and after speaking to Ms. Cooper, I knew this school was the right one. He likes his teacher Mr. Good and has made friends and enjoys going to school. He is doing well academically and shows us his grades consistently which he never did before. It is so refreshing to see my son smile and enjoy school again. Thank you Center Academy.

Our son is a 6th grade student, and is in his 2nd year as a student at Center Academy. He has high functioning autism and ADHD, with no behavioral issues. He did very well at our local public elementary school (with an IEP), but we knew he would benefit more from a smaller class environment once he entered middle school. We are very happy with our choice in Center Academy. As a small school it has a very calm atmosphere, teachers are patient and supportive, and bullying is never tolerated. Ms. Cooper is very responsive and interactive with parents as director, and teacher-parent communication is great. We are looking forward to returning to school next year!

After searching and enrolling in many schools, we finally found one that actually worked. Center Academy has been a blessing. Both the Director, Ms. Cooper and a very special teacher, Mr. Nelson, fought tirelessly for years to help our son. Along the way, they guided our family too, because when your child hurts, the family hurts. Without this school, our son may never have been part of the Class of 2021.

Our daughter has found the right school for her. After struggling thru elementary school with dyslexia and ASD she was not set to enter the large middle schools in Broward County. Center Academy Prep offered the small classrooms, supported learning and understanding teachers that were lacking in the large schools around us. After the first day she came home and told us she found her new school, it was perfect. Nearly a year later she is just as happy and her education is only going upward. The teachers and staff are kind, caring and always there. It is a school where the kids work hard to achieve great things. The school provides an opportunity for after-school activities so the students may socialize and learn new skills as well. This is a great school.

I am extremely thrilled that I came across Center Academy Prep in Coral Springs for my daughter. She struggled for years in a private school and now thrives at Center Academy Prep. The classes are small so the kids can get the help needed to learn an and the Teachers, Principal, and staff are great! For once, my daughter loves school.

Center Academy Prep has really met the needs of my daughter, who has learning disabilities. The staff has a great understanding of students with various special needs, and the students are well-taken care of academically, emotionally, and socially. The staff is very caring and they work hard to promote student success.

We are extremely glad we found Center Academy Prep of Coral Springs. We homeschooled our son for many years because of mild learning difficulties. We were very cautious about where to place him. The faculty and staff are very caring and concerned. Our son is moving at a pace that is challenging but manageable for him. We are pleased with the small class size and the individual care our son receives. This is our first year with CAP and the registration process was not difficult at all. It's a terrific school and I highly recommend them, especially if your child doesn't fit into the academic "box" in the public school setting.

Center Academy is the best school my son ever attended! He used to say that he hated school before, but on his first week at CA he came home very excited that he was finally learning. That helped his self steem and gave us hope. He's now a senior, and oddly enough, I feel sad, that he's finishing High School, mixing feelings, because he's not going to get the same understanding, help, caring and attention that's used to. Mr. Nelson is a great teacher, actually all teachers are terrific, I never had any doubts about their skills, but Mr. Nelson is "the man". Mrs. Cooper also made such a difference, it was great already before her, but her energy, focus and idealism pumped up the whole structure. I can stay here all day praising the wonderful job this school has done in my son's and our lives...but I don't think anybody will read everything anyway...lol...do your homework, and go check this school out! Way to go Center Academy! thanks for all the hard work!

My son was struggling in public school so I was desperate to find an alternative learning environment for him. Miraculously, Center Academy is only a mile from my home. From the first visit, I could sense the difference in the level of concern and caring for the children and their education. This is my son's second year at Center Academy and I am thrilled to announce that it was been a Godsend to my son and my family. We cannot give enough praise to the teachers and staff. Now I am confident that my son will be successful
