I am a parent and alumni of Catholic East. We are a Seton school, meaning demonstrate a high level of academic excellence and accreditation for K3-8th grade. The staff is phenomenal, master Educators, compassionate, and with an innate way of supporting each student. Standards are high because each child deserves the best start in life. I graduated seemingly ages ago, well prepared for high school and college. The school has only continually improved in every single way at both campuses (split K3-2nd & 3rd-8th grade) which are conveniently close together. Catholic East Elementary School abounds with socio-economic, racial, and even religious diversity while upholding values to be the best little and big humans we may be and to live a life of greatness with a healthy sense of purpose. My son graduated in June 2019 from Catholic East having been bestowed the honor of the sole Principal`s Award which still sits proudly atop his bookshelf and he will graduate in May 2023 as an honor student from Marquette University High School nearby, continuing in the private school tradition for a strong academic and virtue-based education. He is currently applying to top universities to pursue a dual undergraduate degree in Quantum Physics and English Literature, having been accepted to a handful of competitive schools with fantastic merit-based scholarships in addition to whatever grant financial aid he may be offered at each. My daughter attends Catholic East currently enjoying her 1st-grade year and loves her teachers so much, her environment, and her classmates. Like my son, she loves learning! I look forward to her future and enjoy seeing her develop each step, reading together, doing homework together, and answering her inquisitive questions of "why" or how something works. Catholic East is a phenomenal school where children who are loved and gently nurtured at home, will thrive. Children who are having a less healthy or nourishing childhood at home, perhaps the premature demise of their sole parent such as myself, will grow educated and functional to be healthier, more successful adults. This school and community are worth checking out whether you are a well-off family able to pay full tuition perhaps having the luxury of free time to volunteer at every turn, or the more common family who may be just comfortable or even at times struggling to make ends meet financially while juggling our children`s schedules and need with work atop the regular responsibilities of running our family & home. Our children will thrive here-a lifetime through because of the gentle loving foundation we provide at home and our co-pilots in values, our profound Catholic East master Educators and staff, make this our reality with a call to service each day for bettering our world through our children`s minds and hearts. Rumi said, "My heart is so small it`s almost invisible. How can You place such big sorrows in it?"Look," He answered, "your eyes are even smaller, yet they behold the world." Let Catholic East Elementary be your child`s lens through which they see our world and their place in it.

I am a proud parent of several Catholic East students. I value the richly diverse student body, innovative curriculum such as Words Their Way and Engage NY Math. I love that my kids have art, gym and music every week with dedicated teachers. I love that the Catholic Faith is infused in all we do at Catholic East!

Not merely facts and figures, as all schools are expected to offer, but my Catholic education taught me to grow alongside people completely different from me. I encountered the entire city of Milwaukee in my kindergarten classroom. I met children of all circumstance, of all backgrounds, of different family structures, faiths, practices, and I was taught to embrace this structure, this patchwork of people as beautiful. I was taught to build more than coexistence but friendship and connection, to find that the differences, though initially restricting or uncomfortable, create further understanding and greater depth to a relationship. Most importantly, I was taught that any child, no matter their color, creed, or custom is to be respected as a child of God, and to build bridges instead of walls.
