Carolina Christian Academy Photo #8 - CHRISTMAS BAND CONCERT

Carolina Christian Academy

In 1995, a group of visionary local residents had a dream to open a Christian school in Lancaster that would provide students world-class academics, a nurturing safe-haven in which to fourish, and a Biblical foundation on which to build solid lives, marriages, and homes.
On September 2, 1996, Carolina Christian Academy opened its doors to ages three through grade twelve.
in 2021, CCA celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary.  CCA ranks as one of the top schools in SC by NICHE.
CCA's five-year-old kindergargarten through twelfth grade annually score an average of one to one and one half grades ahead of the nation on the Iowa assessment test.
The school now serves infants through grade twelve students.
Tours are given daily, you are urged to call 803-285-5565 to schedule one.

School Notes

  • CCA's classes for ages three through five build a solid foundation for the upper grades and life. Studies show that three, four, and five-year-olds who attend a five day a week, structured, academic program such as CCA's will make better grades throughout school, have fewer discipline problems, and a higher percentage will graduate from high school. CCA's high school offers nearly nearly 100 electives, many are AP or dual credit courses. More than ninety percent of the school's graduates attend college, many with full scholarships. CCA graduates attend various universities, including Bob Jones, Pensacola, Harvard, and Oxford. But academics are not all. CCA has award winning fine arts. CCA offers art, voice, piano, chorus, choir, drama, speech, orchastra, and both beginner and advanced band. In statewide competition, CCA's art is recognized as among the best, often winning "Best of Show". CCA is also a fun place to be. CCA students play inter-scholastic girls and boys volleyball, basketball, and golf. In addition, there are three cheerleading squads: Pee-Wees, Junior Varsity, and Varsity. CCA's golf team has been undefeated for two years, winning the SCACS State 1-A championship both years. CCA has one of the best equipped playgrounds in Lancaster County. It provides a safe and happy place for children to play. The huge fenced-in playground has a large selection of age-appropriate equipment for kindergarten to high school, including regulation size outdoor basketball and volleyball courts, and a spacious picnic shelter complete with tables, drinking fountains, and more. Situated on a spacious and beautifully landscaped fifteen-acre campus on the 521 By-pass, CCA's facilities are modern, finely appointed, super-clean, comfortable, and conducive to a bright, positive, and pleasant learning experience. The chandelier hanging brilliantly in the cathedral center of the main corridor, the majestic palms, and the live, luscious plants throughout the facilities all make CCA a delightful place to be. But it is not the facility that will make you want to stay. It is the people! You will love the servant's heart that you find at CCA. The two-fold mission of CCA is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, values, and ethics to excel in life, especially in the areas of college, family, church, society, and vocation; and to prepare an army of young Christian patriots who will exemplify, passionately advocate and intelligently defend the Bible worldview, thereby solving our nation's problems rather than adding to them.

This is year two for my girls. They both started here last year. I was super nervous about putting them in school because they had never even been to a daycare or any school-type setting. We knew we did not want to go the public school route. Ms. Huneycutt gave us the tutor answered all of our questions and ensured me that my girls would be safe here. Both of my girls love it here and they are doing well. We love it. And I now have joined the staff and I must say they do everything they can for students.

I was a student here from K4-7th grade. The impact this school had on me has affected me well into my life. All three of my children now go to CCA and it gets better and better each year. My children love school and love their teachers. Ultimately, they love God and learning about God...and you cannot put a price tag on that!

My children started attending this school last year. I am always amazed at home much their relationship with God has grown. That is what is most important to my husband and me. I started substitute teaching last year as well, so I got a unique inside look of not just what my children were saying but what I was seeing. The integrity of the administration is nothing like I've seen before. They serve the school and each other with such grace and love. I am blessed to not just have my children here but to now be teaching 6th grade, all while still learning myself, and serving the children of this community.

We absolutely love this school. I have a middle schooler, 5th grader and a 2 year old in nursery. Every one in this daycare/school take excellent care of my children. Academics are exceptional, but what means even more is the love and care they show each of my children. Each of my children have done amazing with this school and staff. It is more than just a school, but like an extended family. This place is an answer to our prayers.

Carolina Christian Academy has been a blessing to my family. My son has been a part of the CCA family since he began in K3 with Mrs. Maness. I witnessed his mind grow with knowledge and his heart grow with love for the Lord daily. I know my son will have a successful future due to the foundation Carolina Christian Academy has helped lay down for him. I am also proud to be a teacher at Carolina Christian Academy. May God continue to bless Carolina Christian Academy so it may continue to reach young hearts and minds with Jesus never-ending love.

Both my children have attended CCA since K5. I can say without a shadow of a doubt this is the best Christian school in South Carolina. The Biblical worldview that is taught at CCA is so important in raising children when they are constantly bombarded by the secular views of the world. My oldest child will graduate this year with top honors in her class and it is due the the dedication of the teachers and staff at CCA. More importantly, my child has a valuable work ethic that has been instilled in her and will continue to resonate throughout her college career and into her work career. I would recommend CCA to any parent who is looking for their child to be taught humanities as well as the Bible.

I have worked at CCA for many years. The place is such a haven of rest from this evil world. I daily get to enjoy teaching and watching the students grow in knowledge and also learn from God's Word. With all that is going on in our world today, this school gives time for students to hear about their Creator and learn that He cares for them. This school is blessed and is a blessing to others.

Our daughter has been at CCA since she was 2 years old and will begin kindergarten in the fall. The teachers and staff create an environment that promotes growth in education, development, and growth in a relationship with God, and many other aspects of life. We could not have found a better school or staff to teach our daughter. Our daughter can recite bible verses, write and spell several words, including her whole name, and has just completed K4. They have more than exceeded our expectations academically. I would highly recommend this school to anyone.

CCA has taught my son so much in one year. I bought lessons/ games for his age while out on summer break and to my surprise he already knew everything. He also comes home daily excited to tell me something he learned about Jesus. Every staff member here knows your child by name and truly cares about them. We will continue to send my son from kindergarten to high school.

We have had our 3 children at CCA for the past 7 years. The staff are caring and communicative, and the leadership has clear vision and a desire to see the pupils grow academically and spiritually. The athletics department and coaches are tremendous. Thank you to everyone at CCA.

Amazing school. Best decision I could have made for my children. Teaching of bible and God ministry is what our children need at this time. If I could change anything about CCA is cultural diversity with teachers and children.

CCA changed our lives. Until second grade at CCA - my son struggled with academics, ambition and interaction with other children. CCA changed all that. The staff and the other parents are accepting of all people and show love to and for everyone. My son now wakes up - ready to face the day and he is actually sad when it's not a school day. I cannot recommend CCA to everyone enough.

My son has attended CCA for the first time this school year. These teachers care about the education they are teaching. My son has never come home so full of knowledge when attending public school compared to attending CCA. We will be staying here until he graduates. Wonderful school and atmosphere.

CCA was not the school we planned for our daughter Amelia to go to. Due to the pandemic, I toured the facility. Mrs. Trina Mills meet with me and gave me a tour of the facility. Being a parent of an only child I was really nervous about school period... she had been with my mother and never went to daycare. She went to First United Methodist a few hours a week which helped with her social skills. But... real school..... I wasn`t ready for that. Mrs. Trina assured me Amelia would be loved and taken care of. Gary and I prayed and God sent us that way. They kept me informed and responded anytime I had an issue! I know I bugged Mrs. Misty Eubanks, Mrs. Trina Mills and her K5 teacher Mrs. Ashley Green to the max! They never once complained and always answered my question even if it didn`t seem big to them. I would recommend anyone with a child to do a tour and see what CCA has to offer. When it comes to education and the principles your child will learn, it doesn`t matter what the cost is! The Love is shown daily and I love each one that has put their hand in with helping Amelia develop and will continue to develop at CCA!

CCA is an incredible school and is something that every school to strive to be like. They are fun, organized, prompt and most importantly, provide a five start learning environment for children of all ages. My son has attended since he was 1 y/o and is now almost 6. He can already write his name in cursive and excel in areas that most kids his age do not. They provide the stepping stones to make a child prepared (and more) for kindergarten. I can't wait to see what else they have in store for my son's learning as well as my daughter who also attends their Cubby Care. Cubby Care is the daycare that they provide. It is clean and all the staff who work in Cubby Care are incredible and fantastic with children. Send your children here and you'll notice a huge change in your child both academically and spiritually!

CCA is a fantastic school with challenging academics, competitive sports, small classes within a respectful Christian environment. All classes are taught from a biblical worldview. Online classes and exciting field trip experiences are also available. My child has grown academically, socially, and spiritually from his tea at CCA. Teachers are helpful, organized, and approachable with high expectations for all students. Class time is wisely utilized.

I love this school for my boys. Every teacher and the faculty have been supportive as the boys transitioned from homeschool. This is their second year, and the boys enjoy learning and going there. I feel like they are in good hands; they are safe; they are learning, and they are only excelling every day they are able to attend.
