Hawthorne Christian Academy is a non-profit, church sponsored Christian school.
The school is beginning it's sixteenth year and begins caring for children as young as infants and continues this training through12th grade.
The church sponsoring the school as well as the faculty and staff believe that we are operating an important mission, "One of reaching children and young adults for Christ".
Our staff are professing Christians who are active members in their local churches.
We believe that it is important for those who are touching the lives of children to have first been touched by Christ.
We also believe in academic excellence at HCA and we have graduated over 40 students in the last several years.
The education these graduates received has helped them succeed after Hawthorne in various public and private colleges.
Hawthorne uses the Abeka and Bob Jones University Press curriculum, and we are members of South Carolina Association of Christian Schools and AACS. Our preschool is DSS registered.
