I attended Brighton for many years. I came from a public school. I was bullied not just by students but by teachers as well. I really did not want to go to this small school. After a while, I felt accepted, and I started to love going to school every day. I started to get really good grades, and I made really great friends there. I still talk to most of them. Jackson

I have worked here for many years. I have never had a job that I love this much! The administration is supportive and respectful. My co-workers are all amazing as well. We have staff meetings so we can stay on top of things and we are well informed. I hope to work her for many years!

We are new to Brighton this year. We are so happy with this school. I wish I had found it years ago. My kids are so happy there. We feel like a little community. I love being able to volunteer. They have great parent-teacher communication. We are lifers!!

This is a great learning environment for my boys. I was iffy at first because it is so different from public schools but I soon changed my mind. My boys are no longer in constant trouble with teachers like they were in public. They get along with the staff and their class friends. They are learning - Thank goodness!! They actual like school - well they like it a lot better than public - its still school to them. They are in 4th and 6th grade. So glad we found this school.

I was told by so many people that this was a great school. I toured it, I brought my husband to tour it and then we brought our children. We were all instantly in love with this school. It feels so inviting and friendly. The staff was amazing and professional. We love the small classrooms and the one on one the teachers are able to give. We were given a "free" day to allow our kids to experience it first hand without a financial commitment - no one does that!! You can tell that everyone there cares about the kids, the parents, their jobs and the school. I was able to speak with the owner and I learned that she is there everyday - She actually still teaches everyday. She is friendly and very approachable. We are almost finished with the year and I am still so amazed by this school and the progress my kids have made. My kids were actually behind the Brighton students when we began, but they were caught up quickly with one on one they were given with the teachers. They teachers seem to want to go the extra mile. One even offered, for free, to stay after and give additional help.PROS:Curriculum is great and seems to be more advanced than the public schoolsLots of hands on classroom experiencesSmall class sizesThey go on Field Trips and they include the families.Very family friendlyThey did a cool science thing with hatching baby chickensThey have a computer labThe older kids get lockers - pro for my kids anywayPretty awesome Fall Festival/carnivalYearbooks - Haven't gotten it yet but I know they will be greatThey offer Spanish once a weekMy kids LOVE Lego club on Wednesdays and STEM on FridaysThe only Cons: No High School and classes fill up fast because of the small class sizes. (that is actually a PRO for me)

This school is amazing! My children have trived here. We were struggling in public school when we heard about Brighton. The teachers are so caring and really want to help my child who was struggling in a public school. My children knew they loved this school on the shadow day and begged to go back. They made friends the first day. They felt totally accepted by the other students. We totally would recommend this school without reservation. They are family friendly. ...they are family!!
