School Notes
- Our fusion of investigative learning and the classical model of teaching is truly unique. Skills, tools and knowledge are intentionally sequenced and layered for students, so that every new piece is a building block to success. In the later years this foundation acts as a springboard for creativity and critical thinking, where the student is encouraged to become increasingly independent and self-directed in their learning. We believe that active bodies stimulate active minds, and especially in the younger years when attention spans are limited, we incorporate a variety of physical activities into the school day to keep students alert and engaged.
- Students meet on campus three days a week under the direction of professional teachers, and complete lessons at home on alternate days with parents serving as a tutor. New concepts are introduced and taught at school by professional teachers while the application and reinforcement of the concept takes place at home on the other two days. This provides a wonderful opportunity to maintain strong family relationships through increased time together.
- While academic excellence is core to the University Model and something we embrace wholeheartedly, Arrow Preparatory Academy focuses first on the heart. We firmly believe that students of strong character, firmly rooted in Jesus and confident in themselves and their abilities, will inherently possess the internal motivation that drives them to succeed in their academic and creative endeavors.

We are so grateful to have found Arrow Prep for our Kindergartener this year. It is the perfect blend of high-quality classroom education three days a week and home school two days a week. We love having the extra time as a family along with the structure and academic excellence of a University Model school. The staff and teachers truly care for the school and students and the community is so kind and welcoming. As we wrestled through the homeschool/public school/private school debate for our first child entering school, Arrow answered all of our needs and has been a great fit. Additionally, my daughter who has struggled with separation anxiety since infancy loves school and can't wait to go every day. It is an excellent school!

We love Arrow Prep and our kids are thriving under the care of the incredible staff team. We enjoy our home days together and its fun to see our kids really starting to develop ownership and independence in their school work even at a young age. We feel very supported and equipped to teach on home days and treasure those days together as a family.

We love Arrow :). It is such a special blend of traditional school and homeschool. My first grader and our whole family get the benefits of both. The faculty and staff are extremely caring and personable. We are so thankful for their influence in our daughter's life. It is a wonderful place to be a part of.
