The Academy of Greatness and Excellence (AGE), situated in the suburban locale of Teaneck, NJ, commenced operations in September 2013 as an elementary institution catering to both Muslim and Non-Muslim students spanning from Pre-Kindergarten to 3rd Grade.
In its inaugural year, the school's enrollment numbered 27 students; nonetheless, the subsequent four years witnessed an exponential surge in enrollment, necessitating a pressing requirement for facility expansion. In 2018, AGE procured a secondary campus in the adjacent Ridgefield Park, conveniently located a mere two and a half miles away from the Teaneck premises.
This fresh campus not only accommodated the burgeoning student population, which had tripled across each grade, but also facilitated the inclusion of additional grade levels.
At present, AGE provides education to a student cohort of 485, encompassing Preschool through 12th Grade, spread across both campuses: Teaneck (Preschool-2nd Grade) and Ridgefield Park (3rd-12th Grade).
Despite the adversities posed by the pandemic and its impact on families' capacity to meet tuition obligations, the enrollment trajectory has been consistently upward. The Teaneck facility comprises eleven capacious classrooms, a conference room, a library, a science laboratory, and a multi-purpose room serving as a venue for assemblies, dining, and gym activities.
Meanwhile, the Ridgefield Park campus boasts a total of seventeen classrooms, a dedicated science lab, an additional auxiliary science area, an expansive cafeteria, a gymnasium, and a media center. The strategic proximity of both campuses facilitates a seamless transition between the two premises, particularly for parents who have children attending classes in both locations.
The school's emblematic mascot, the Shark, was chosen by our Middle and High School students during the initial year of occupancy at the Ridgefield Park.

Great school ! The teachers are really caring. The administration is very professional and really cares about the children. My son goes to this school and has made many friends. He is developing into a fine young man that I am proud of. The teachers are good role models. I have looked at many Islamic schools and find this one, the best in the tri-state area. The have a great STEM program and put a lot of emphasis on building character and strong leaders for tomorrow. I know many people that travel over 20 miles to come to this school. I have met parents who come from NYC to bring their kids because of the education that is provided. I would highly recommend this school. Move to the area if you need to.
