Wright Christian Academy

The mission of Wright Christian Academy is to educate, in an exceptional manner, the children of parents who support and practice the beliefs of New Testament Christianity.
In so doing, it is the responsibility of the Board of Directors to maintain an educational institution which supports and facilitates the development of these beliefs in the student body.
This, of necessity, requires prayerful selectivity of both staff and faculty as well as the individual members which comprise the student body. The end result of the efforts of the school is to be the development of a Christian young person; devoted to God, grounded in the teaching of Christ, able to lead the church and exceptionally prepared to pursue further educational endeavors.
The vision of Wright Christian Academy is to help our students hear the heartbeat of God.

We have two boys and have been at right for 7 years! Our teachers have been amazing and their love for our kids is evident . . . always available for any concerns, questions, or extra time with our children to make sure they are understanding their studies.

Wright Christian Academy has been a wonderful school for my children. One of my favorite things is that they love school. And that is important to me because learning should be fun. The teachers provide high quality instruction and student academic outcomes are high. Additionally, my children have close friendships with their peers. WCA feels like a family and we are so thankful to be a part.

Wright Christian has felt like our family since the moment we walked on to campus. Friendly faces and caring staff members make this a one of a kind school. We have been truly blessed with our experience and look forward to seeing how our children will continue to grow in their education and faith over the next few years.

Wright is a place that feels like a family. The faculty truly invest in not only the academic success of my children but their well-being. They are concerned with their full development. The small class sizes support this growth. I am pleased with the educational experience that my children are experiencing at WCA.

WCA has made a huge impact on our family. My three children graduated from WCA and were blessed by their experiences here. I've experienced this school from every angle; first as a parent, then as a teacher, and now as an administrator. After pursuing college degrees preparing them for teaching, several alumni have come back to WCA to teach here because this place is so much more than a school!

My son has attended Wright Christian Academy for 13 years. Every teacher he has had not only has taught him academics but loved him while teaching him to walk with Jesus. I love that there are plenty of extracurricular classes for my son to choose from and even the opportunity to play sports to be part of a team. The student is recognized not only for their academic abilities but also their Athletic abilities. Students also have the opportunity to be in the Drama Class and perform a play for the school. Every other year the 8th and 9th graders have the opportunity to take a trip to Washington D.C. for an up close look at Capital, its history and current events. Another great opportunity for a student is to be able to attend leadership courses called Student Leadership University which teaches them to "think, dream and lead through biblical values." I feel WCA give students the education and confidence to succeed in life.

This is my first year to teach at Wright Christian Academy. The staff and faculty are amazing. The teachers truly care about each student. Because the school is smaller we are able to invest in each student as an individual. We are able to help our students reach their full potential academically as well as spiritually. There is a genuine feeling of "family" here (staff to staff, parents to parents, staff to parents) that you won`t find at other schools.

This school is a treasure! While they offer an incredible amount of extra-curricular activities in drama and sports and a thorough academic program through dual accreditation with colleges, probably the thing that stands out to me the most about this school is the fact that each teacher cares about each student. Teachers listen to students empathetically and give godly feedback to help nurture them. I know this because both of my children graduated from here, equipping them for life. My daughter went on to do mission work and my son is in grad school at Washington University. This place is more than a school; it is a family.

As a parent of two boys, one in elementary and one in middle school, we are so grateful we found Wright five years ago. My boys have not only been blessed with a wonderful education, but they`ve been loved on and shown God`s love and grace by an incredible staff! We love our school!

WCA is such a wonderful school. Our daughter just completed Kindergarten. She is just beginning her journey there, but we know it will be one filled with great knowledge, loving and compassionate teachers and staff, and a solid foundation in Christ. The curriculum supports her passion for art and she has been encouraged at every turn. With small classes, the teachers have been able to address each child's needs individually. WCA gives me high hopes for my daughter's future.

"I honestly cannot brag on this school enough. I graduated from Wright 18 years ago and can say, without a doubt, I was given an amazing education. But now, as a parent of a student at Wright, I can truly appreciate what a loving, unique and God-centered school this is. Beyond high test scores, great curriculum and excellent teachers; this school is like a family that you instantly become a part of. It's the exact environment you pray your child can be in each day. The friends, parents, and teachers are simply the best, the education my child is receiving is second to none and I'm forever grateful for this place."Stacy Bay - alumni, parent.

My family has been part of the Wright Christian Academy family for the past 4 years and we love it. Small class sizes, teachers who care deeply about our children, and, most importantly, our girl are learning more about Jesus every day at school. We love this school and are so happy to be part of it!

Our children have been at Wright Christian Academy since 2006 and range in age from 11-16. The thing we have loved the most is that the faculty truly love their students as their own and it feels like sending our kids to their "second home", but school. It warms my heart to see how well the older kids interact with the young kids and how Wright intentionally incorporates this into their days. If you want a school that feels like home, this is it!

Wright Christian has been an incredible experience for my daughter. She fit in so fast because everyone at Wright is so welcoming. It really feels like a family atmosphere. The academics are what we expect from a private school and she has had a blast playing volleyball and basketball. Overall my wife and I would recommend Wright Christian to anyone looking for a private school in Tulsa.
