School Reviews

We have 3 children at Whitefield Academy, each with very different personalities and abilities, and we have experienced the Lower, Middle and Upper Schools. For our family, this has been an outstanding choice of school. It offers the rigor of some of the larger better known private schools in the area, but with smaller class sizes and a Christian worldview. Sports and Fine Arts offerings are high quality, plentiful and varied. The best attribute is the faculty and administration who love each child and work to know them and mentor them as individuals. Whitefield is so much more than a school. It is a community that includes the entire family. We have all been strengthened and bolstered by this community as we seek to raise our children to lead successful lives that honor God.

Whitefield Academy provides an exceptional school experience for my children. Teaching methods are time-tested and appropriate to the grade level. Course content is solidly college-prep material. I appreciate that a Biblical worldview is woven throughout lessons instead of just a weekly chapel, and the teachers and administrators provide thoughtful mentoring to students both in and out of the classroom. The school is small enough to have a strong, community feel, yet large enough to offer the high quality academic, athletic and artistic opportunities parents look for in a well-rounded, private school.

I am a current student at Whitefield Academy and have been attending it for 7 years. Overall my experience has been great! The school has a very uplifting atmosphere and great academics. The classes are very challenging at times but the teachers are willing to help you outside of class in order to insure success. There is a very strong sense of community within the teachers and students which is one of the school's main focuses this year. Looking back on my years here, I recognize that there have been faults along the way, but I would never consider attending school anywhere else. I feel that by attending Whitefield I have become more confident in myself and in my walk with God. The teachers are very openly Christian and this is an extremely important part of our school for students, teachers, and faculty. As a senior I have started the college search and feel very confident that I will be succesful because of the foundation that Whitefield has instilled in me about working hard and doing your best.
