The purpose of Westminster Academy has been to maintain an educational institution of high academic quality in conformity with the principles in the Statement of Faith, in order that young people may receive Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, and be prepared as Christians to take their places effectively in the home, church, and community.
We believe the overall purpose of our Christian school is to provide a means by which a child can grow and become inspired to live the Christian life, a goal of leading young lives through the sequence of learning which not only develops skills, but goes on to guide them into virtue and the body of knowledge which honors Christ and promotes their faith in the truths of the Bible.
Westminster Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students as the school.
Westminster Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarships and loan programs and athletic and other school administered programs.
We believe in the historic Christian faith which includes these truths among other equally valuable: the holiness and love of the one Sovereign God-Father, Son and Holy Spirit; the Bible, the inspired and inerrant word of God, is our final authority in all areas of faith and practice; the sinfulness of man; the true deity and sinless humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His Virgin Birth, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, and His glorious coming again; salvation by grace through faith alone; and the oneness in Christ of those He has redeemed with His own precious blood.
