Valley Christian Academy is a K-12 Day school founded in 1968.Located on the beautiful Central Coast of California, VCA is aministry of First Baptist Church of Santa Maria. We provide aloving, Christ-centered, college preparatory education. Wemaintain a beautiful campus, complete with classrooms, astate-of-the-art science lab, gym, playgrounds and athleticfields. We also have a preschool on campus for children ages 3-5.

School Notes
- Valley Christian Academy uses A Beka curriculum in itselementary grades, along with Zaner-Bloser Handwriting curriculumand Positive Action Bible curriculum. The elementaryChristmas program is a huge attraction, with all the the studentssinging, and the 6th grade students putting on a dramaticproduction. The tradition of singing Handel's HallelujahChorus is the culmination of the program each year.
- A Beka and BJU Press are used in the junior high. Girls'volleyball and basketball, and boys' basketball are available aswell. Electives include choir, drama, and homeeconomics. The JH Drama class puts on a dinner theatre eachyear.
- Senior high students use a variety of textbooks ande-books. Some of the electives include yearbook, culinaryarts, drama, intro to programming, art, accounting, teacher's aide,and a variety of AP class offerings. Our students are alsoactive in volleyball, football, basketball, softball andbaseball. Choir and band concerts, as well as the seniorplay, performed in the spring are highlights of the year.
