Our kids have been attending Torit since they were 1 and 3, now they are 5 and 7 and still love every single thing about going to school! They are truly excited and enthusiastic about SCHOOL! You can't put a price on that. Torit has given them an incredible foundation for a lifetime of learning. The school is very diverse, and the teachers and staff are wonderful. In addition to traditional subjects, the kids learn THREE languages along with dance, music, coding, robotics, swimming, soccer, tennis, and more that I can't think of off-hand! Incredible school.

Our family has had a wonderful experience at Torit Montessori so far. Our 7 year old daughter started her Torit journey as a toddler, completed their pre-primary program and is a happy 1st grader in their elementary school. Among the greatest strengths at Torit is its academic rigor. Due to the phenomenal preprimary curriculum at Torit, our daughter was beginning to read chapter books prior to entering 1st grade. In math, our daughter gained critical math skills and concepts that have enabled her to start tackling multiplication and division in her 1st year at Torit elementary. Since the Montessori method emphasizes student learning at their own pace, Torit has enabled our daughter to continue to build on her math and language skills (as opposed to forcing her to repeat topics for which she already demonstrated competency), which, at present, is past typical "1st grade" expectations / milestones for math and reading. In addition to academic rigor, Torit weaves in a multi-cultural perspective, as reflected in the various holidays it celebrates (e.g,. Chinese New Year, Diwali, etc,) and the 3 languages (Arabic, Mandarin and Spanish) Torit teaches to all students. I also am incredibly pleased with the faculty/teachers at Torit. All the the teachers and staff at Torit take particular care to understand the individual needs, learning styles and personalities of all their students. Recognizing that each child learns differently, teachers have worked with us to ensure that our daughter is reaching her potential rather than just checking off a competency box. Teachers engage students to try their best and provide individualized lessons when the child is ready to learn a new concept. At the same time, teachers also engage the children in group projects that promotes team work and a sense of belonging to a community. Outside of academics, Torit offers a multitude of thoughtful physical activities from swimming, ballet and tennis to name a few and activities in the arts, music and coding!!! Our daughter loves all of these activities but is particularly loves ice skating lessons, which the children do once a week during the winter at Frog Pond. These physical activities offers my daughter an opportunity to release energy and bond with her classmates. Lastly, I can`t say enough about the hot, nutritious lunch at Torit, which the school provides and is prepared daily by a certified chef. In summary, we have great confidence that our child is in the best academic and social environment at Torit.
