Thacher Montessori is an incredible school. The teachers are all so intelligent, thoughtful and interesting and LOVE teaching, and this positivity and kindness resonate through the children in the classroom as well. The children learn to love learning, because they are given the tools to focus on, engage with and question all learning materials in an independent and empowering way. The music teacher is amazing, apt to share philosophy as easily as beats, and the art room is always full of color and creativity. The sports coach is amazing too, always going out of the way to be inviting while also being clear and focused. My two children have been at the school for three years, and despite some changes in administration, my children couldn't be happier and are learning at well-above-average levels for their ages. I feel connected to the school and want to help it grow, which shows me I'm a happy parent too.

My kids have been in this school for 3 years now and I have to say it has been a wonderful experience watching them grow so much socially and academically. The teachers and classroom assistants are very understanding, they listen to your concerns and are caring and nurturing. My kids have made good friends and love the new experiences. The head of school and vice head are also very good. Together they make a nice team and have helped the school grow in the right direction.
