What an incredible learning environment! I've watched my apathetic middle-schooler blossom into a focused, driven student. The teachers are so encouraging and the academic achievement of all the students is really impressive. The school is set up exactly how I would have liked my high school education to be; no distractions, no drama, and a stellar faculty to guide every step of the way into college.

In between undergraduate school and dental school, I was fortunate to be a teacher at SLP and it was one of the best years of my life. I have never been surrounded by so much knowledge, enthusiasm, and eager to learn. I had an 8th grader finish Algebra, Geometry, and start Algebra II in the same school year (impressive, I know, but every student is brilliant and able to excel in the subjects they love). Mrs. Appelbaum has such a genuine passion for teaching and it is evident from the moment you meet her! The positivity at this school is contagious, the atmosphere makes you feel at home, and the students are beyond beautiful inside and out. Seven years later, I am officially a pediatric dentist and still read positive quotes/affirmations with my staff to start our day! So thank you SLP, you helped me more than I helped you! <3

Amazing school! I have 2 children that currently attend this school. I have had a child graduate from this school and is now attending a top-tier academic institution. My children have a safe, drama free environment in which to thrive. Thanks to SLP the high school years have been an incredible experience.

I have been in education for over 30 years. Too many schools (nearly all) follow the same stale systems for learning. SLP is truly unique, effective, and one of a kind. The support of our faculty is outstanding. Each are willing to do new things to help each student grow academically and personally. Administration and faculty truly care. Our students receive individualized attention daily. Academics through a challenging curriculum is our focus yet our students thrive academically as well as socially and emotionally.
