I went to Storm Ridge Ranch. It has an all girls ranch in Monroe, Utah. I was going down a very dangerous path with my anger & my very very very poor self- esteem. This place helped me get my life back on track. If anyone is looking for a place to send a kid that needs that extra help, this is the place I recommand. I was in a different program before this one & I went home & totally messed it up within 3 weeks. I got sent to Storm Ridge the 2nd time. I was there for about 10 months. I got woken up by my advocate at 6 in the morning. We got down to her office, called my family, & I found out that I only had an hour. I was going home. I came home for the second time on August 14th, 2014. I am still at home & I am doing fantastic. I am living proof that change can happen. Please, trust these people. As soon as you walk through that door to the program, their only goal is to get you to the point to where you can walk right back out that door. The biggest activity that impacked my life were the life skills that we got. We, & yes, I even consider myself as part, are a family. We share, we laugh, we change, & most importantly, we love. My name is Melanie Jean Sherman. I was adopted at the age 4. My friends at the program called me Mel Bel. I sign all my documents with Mel Bel. I took the chance to trust them. Will You? Forever & Always, Mel Bel
