St. Matthias Preschool is a fantastic school. My 3.5-year-old daughter has been attending for 8 months and she absolutely loves it. The teachers are experienced and give individualized attention to each student's growth and development. The teachers also have great communication with parents, letting us know what happens on a daily or weekly basis depending on the parent's communication style and needs. There are several core focus areas in the curriculum that help prepare children for kindergarten. My daughter's favorite activity is her weekly music class and she's excited to start a new garden project this month. I love the diversity of the students and the parent community that has come with joining St. Matthias. I've met so many wonderful parents who I now can talk to about different stages of our kid's lives and we get together regularly for activities and playdates. I highly recommend this school.

St Matthias is a hidden gem with very experienced teachers and a wonderful curriculum. Our daughter has grown tremendously in her time at this school, and the teachers are always giving insights and feedback on each individual child. The classrooms are kept very clean and our daughter has hardly been sick since starting school. It is very hard to find smaller class sizes combined with such experienced, caring teachers so we are very grateful to have found this school. We have had a lot of play dates with classmates and every parent I have spoken with only has similar, glowing reviews of St Matthias.

We have sent both of our daughters to St. Matthias and we can't recommend this school enough! The teachers and staff are wonderful with the children, and they worked especially hard with my youngest daughter's separation anxiety when she first started. The school has one of the largest outdoor play areas I've ever seen, with two playgrounds. The kids have so much fun attending full days, and we always know that our children are in great hands. Both kids are learning a ton, as the school focuses on kindergarten readiness. We love St. Matthias!

St. Matthias Preschool is a wonderful community and hidden gem in Redwood City. The teachers and director are fantastic; they provide a high quality education and check-in regularly on developmental and educational milestones. They teach age appropriate faith formation, including the universal concepts of being a good citizen: friendship, charity, kindness, forgiveness, etc. There is a Spanish and music enrichment program. The grounds are beautiful, the classrooms are bright and airy. My daughter is happy to go to school in the morning and leaves happy when I come to pick her up. I couldn't be more pleased with our experience here.
