I have been very pleased with St. Mary Episcopal. I have a 2nd grader and a 6th grader. We homeschooled prior to SME and decided on SME due to the small class size. They have recently added 6-8 and it is indeed a 'safe'' middle school experience. My kids love it. The curriculum is challenging and the classes small enough to ensure not only everyone understands but that those that do are challenged further. The teachers know every student in the school, not only in their class. The upper grades have the same teachers from year to year for individual subjects. It's nice knowing that my daughter will have the same math teacher next year. I like that continuity. There are plenty of opportunities for extra-curriculars such as; percussion, theatre, archery, etc.. We are half way into the year and they have already had a full term of photography, been sculling at the OKC Boat House, and a theatre performance. It's the best kept secret in Edmond!
