St. John the Evangelist School is a Catholic elementary school of the Diocese of Rochester that exists to educate the whole child: spiritually, academically, morally, socially, emotionally, and physically in a safe, caring, faith-filled community.
St. John the Evangelist School strives to offer quality education blended and interwoven with the teachings of Jesus.
Religious instruction is an integral part of the curriculum. Moreover, the religious beliefs of the faculty, staff and students permeate all instruction and activities giving St. John's School a distinctly Christian atmosphere.
St. John the Evangelist School strives to accept each child as a unique individual.
Through the talent sharing of dedicated teachers, every effort is made to educate the whole child and to meet his needs intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
It is hoped that through the students' growth in knowledge of their faith and in a spirit of Christian community they will develop a commitment to service of God and neighbor.
