When I was called to be Pastor at St. John Lutheran in late 2020, St. John School was one of the high points which moved me to believe that God was calling me to New Orleans from the Midwest. The professional staff, many of whom are Commissioned Ministers of the LCMS, its rich history in the community, and achievement of its students to move on to highly rated high schools in the area let me know that St. John knows how to lead children toward successful academics as well as teaching them how to be outstanding citizens. I'm also looking forward to seeing this school grow even more in the future with our affiliation with NOLA Community Arts with integrated music education in the near future.
