St. Joan of Arc has provided me with so many opportunities to thrive both in and out of an educational environment. I was able to be involved in many activities that they provided as well as outside of the school. The teachers were able to work closely with each student and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there!

This is my third year as a parent of two children enrolled at St Joan of Arc. I have a daughter in her second year of preschool and a son who is currently in kindergarten after completing two years of preschool at SJA. I truly cannot express how well my son was prepared for kindergarten. He attended the Preschool C class as his second year in preschool. The teachers did an excelllent job of preparing him for kindergarten. He learned to properly write all his letters and numbers and also started reading in preschool! All of this has set him up for a successful year of kindergarten. My daughter is in her second year of preschool. Her first year she attended the Preschool A class. This was a great introduction to school for her. The class size was small and intimate and it helped to ease the transistion to being "away from mom." This year she is in the Preschool B class. They also do an amazing job of preparing the kids for the years to come, while still making it a fun and enriching learning enviroment. Overall, St Joan of Arc is a great school as well as community that will assist in developing your childs faith, and "whole" child.

This is our 4th year at SJA, and have 3 kids at the school. Starting out here from the Pre-school level I couldn't be more happier with our education choice for our kids. First the pre-school program is amazing! I love the different schedules they have for different family needs. My children have enjoyed all the cooking and art projects as well as the social skills they have learned in the preschool program! The other comments made by other parents are spot on! The community that is felt here is warm and welcoming. The teachers and staff put their faith first which is important to our family. The education is also above standard. I am so glad that we have the opportunity to send our kids here!

Over four years ago, my son started at St. Joan of Arc in first grade and my daughter in pre-school . It was a big change for our family. Bigger school, unfamiliar faces and more. On the first day of school, we were greeted by the Principal and Father Adam. Talk about the feeling of security. After registration, we were connected with a welcome committee representative who remained close to us throughout the year to make sure we adjusted comfortably to the new school. This was a nice and personal approach. It was recommended that we participate in cross country (the kids weren't too thrilled with this), but it was a great way to meet new families and get integrated into the school. I would recommend this to all new families. The school is very good at communicating and when I require any additional help, I am always attended to quickly. Although it is a much bigger school than what we were used to, we are still known by name and feel part of the SJA family. Father Adam is an amazing spiritual leader and his involvement is beyond special. They have a high bar for academics and that is important to us. My son is already doing oral presentations in fourth grade as an example. As a working Mom, their aftercare program and professionals are amazing. They help me keep the kids safe, have them do homework, get them ready for sports and always provide a fun and structured environment for the children. If you want a school that provides a family environment with Catholic values and a high bar for academics, this would be a solid choice.

I have two children that go to St Joan of Arc, my oldest now in 4th grade. Choosing St Joan of Arc was the best decision that I could have made not only for the cutting edge STEAM curriculum (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) that they offer, but also for the wonderful caring teachers and staff. Since joining St Joan of Arc we have moved into an area with a great public school system and have chosen to continue sending our children to this wonderful school. My children have current and future opportunities to assist the community for the better good, learning in a faith and family based setting, and I am confident that they will be educationally prepared for their future.

St. Joan of Arc has been a great choice for our two children. Each year the administration works to give our kids the most up-to-date curriculum. This year they introduced STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) into the way of learning. The school has purchased 2 3-D printers and set up a STEAM lab for all to use. I love that they are always improving while still maintaining classical literature and math techniques. The community is warm and inviting to your entire family.

This is my family's fourth year at St. Joan of Arc School. My kids are both doing excellent with caring, dedicated teachers and I am certain that they will be fully prepared educationally & will have a smooth transition into high school. Also very important to our family was our kids being raised within a faith filled environment. My kids participate in Spanish, Computer, Music, Enrichment, Gym, Art & Accelerated Reader programs as well as having access to extracurricular activities such as Band, Drama Club, Boy Scouts and American Heritage Girls. They can participate in many different sports such as cross country, volleyball, basketball, soccer, cheer and football. Since I am a stay at home mom, one of the things that was important to me was the ability to volunteer. St. Joan of Arc welcomes participation by parents to volunteer in the library, helping in the classroom, reading to the kids, helping out in computer classes and encourages involvement in your child's learning experience. Also new this year, St. Joan of Arc assigned an Ambassador family to each new family enrolled at the school so that new parents would have a contact that could assist them with all questions that they would have, and to keep them informed about all school activities.

I have been with the SJA school FAMILY for 10 years now. I could most certainly write about all the fabulous things previously mentioned in the above reviews. But I''m going to write something that sums it up from my child's perspective; which is priceless. When my family experienced a life changing event, my middle child looked at me and one of his first concerns was this: "Can we keep going to St. Joan of Arc?" What 4th. grade boy has that as a top concern? Sometime later when the life changes continued, he looked at me and said "Will I get to keep going to St. Joan of Arc through 8th. grade?" Sure, I could rave about the wonderful attributes that have been mentioned, because yes, I agree with all of them. However, I think my child sums it up. This is their family. This is their home away from home. This is their safe zone, as well as the place that is more than preparing them for their future. I have had many friends who, after hearing me rave about the SJA family, finally witnessed the SJA family in action, and all they could say was, "Wow...now I see what you have been talking about." No one needs to look very hard to see the incredible teachers, students, families, and staff we have at St. Joan of Arc. It is an incredible community that continues to prepare our children for life in a faith based setting that is second to none.

This is our first year at St. Joan of Arc. We transferred from another local school and have been warmly welcomed by each of the students, faculty and families. Each of our kids teachers have been absolutely amazing and have checked with us periodically throughout the year to ensure our kids feel welcome and are receiving the resources they need to succeed. We are very impressed by each aspect of the school and have loved our transition! Go Warriors!

This is our second year at SJA and I can honestly say that switching schools was the best thing we did for our children. Both of our children are doing so much better in both academics and their attitude towards school. Last New Year's Eve, we asked our kids to list some good things that happened to them the last year and our son said "going to St. Joan of Arc." Our daughter concurred. There is no better affirmation than that! The administrative staff, teachers, students and their families have been very accepting and truly the best! St. Joan of Arc has been a blessing to our family!

This is our second year at SJA. We were relocated to Toledo. This was especially hard on my daughters. From the beginning SJA surrounded my girls with support and understanding. One year later, we couldn't be happier. My girls are thriving and so happy. They participate in American Heritage Girls as well as soccer. There are many activities throughout the year such as Trunk or Treat, Breakfast with Santa, Father/Daughter Dance, Mother/Son event and our annual Snowball fundraiser in which our school comes together as a family. Everyone is friendly, welcoming and even though we've only been in Toledo for 18 months, we feel at home.

This is our fifth year at St. Joan of Arc with three children currently in the school. From the beginning, St. Joan of Arc felt like a family. In the morning, there is always someone to greet the kids with a warm smile at the front entrance. The academic program is excellent and the children are challenged to think critically, problem solve, and work in teams. Spanish is even being taught at the early grades! Enrichment further challenges our children in a fun and experiential manner. Also there are services for speech and help with reading and math as needed. We are especially happy with the faith base education that St. Joan of Arc provides. Faith and values are integrated within the curriculum; faith is not taught only in religion class. There are many opportunities for extracurricular activities including sports, plays/musicals, the band, quiz bowl, Boy Scouts, and much more. We could not be happier with St. Joan of Arc.

We were relocated 2 years ago to the Toledo area. We took a tour of St. Joan of Arc and immediately felt like part of the community. SJA is a wonderful school with a variety of opportunities. The teachers my children have had are all excellent. They have had the opportunity to play various sports, starting in kindergaden. Their faith based education has been very important in their education, but the extras they get from SJA are exceptional. Band, computer, art, music, Spanish and enriched math (upper grades) are all part of the weekly schedule. The academics are great and the school as a while does a wonderful job of preparing kids with a well rounded education.

St. Joan of Arc School has been a part of our family for many years. The quality education our children have received is exceptional! Our oldest graduated from SJA and was very well prepared for high school. He was eligible for AP and Honor level classes as were many others in his graduating class. We are also pleased that our children can participate in Band, sports, enriched Math, Spanish & computer classes as part of their daily schedule. St. Joan of Arc School also provides the strong faith based environment that is very important to our family. To say we are a close community is an understatement! I have witnessed our community come together to support someone in need on numerous occasions. We are proud to be part of this family!
