St. Francis Catholic High School Photo #2 - What unites the members of our faith community is their commitment to “Pax et Bonum,” the motto of St. Francis High School. “Pax et Bonum” embodies the spirit of the school and its dedication to the qualities of “Peace and Goodness” evident in the life of its patron, St. Francis of Assisi. It is this quest for “Peace and Goodness” that inspires all members of the community – students, teachers, staff and parents – to respect one another’s beliefs, to share their individual spiritual journeys and to pray and work together as St. Francis of Assisi taught. The statue of St. Francis of Assisi that graces the front entrance of the school was created by Adan Romo, local artist and sculpture instructor at St. Francis High School.
