St. Edward School was originally founded as an all-black Catholic School on November 18, 1918 by St. Katharine Drexel.
Our mission is "living the eucharistic reality that "all are one in Christ".
We believe that our primary reason for existing is to instill in each child the Christian principles, attitudes and values which will result in a deep love of God, country, and all people.
We believe that we should accept each child as he or she is, yet seek to provide an education that will develop his or her fullest potential, an education dedicated to spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical, cultural and social development.
