St. Andrew Academy

My family and I recently move to CT from NYC . As we were searching for schools , we came across St. Andrew. Both the Principal and the school Secretary made the transition so easy. We were provided with a packet that had everything we needed to get our son enrolled for school . We were still in NY while handling enrollment and if we had any questions communication was accessible. The school curriculum is one of the best . My son learned Spanish at the age of 4. The class sizes are very small, therefore the teachers are able to give the students more attention as well as determining their educational needs . Every week parents will receive a weekly email with important information regarding school updates. Communication is the key and the communication has been amazing. The plan is for our son to remain in this school until it`s time to graduate from the 8th grade . My family and I are proud to be apart of the St. Andrew Family .

My son attends St Andrews since kindergarten and we couldn't be happier. The teachers, the principal and office staff are always very helpful and nice. I know that my son is safe and learning every day the skills he needs to be successful. Even during COVID times, the school pulled together in such an amazing way that I couldn't be more proud to be part of this beautiful family. I absolutely recommend St Andrew Academy 100%.

My Daughter is attending St Andrew since kindergarten. This school allows for a great student to teacher ratio, offering children more confidence when asking questions. Her teacher is great encouragement; they have excellent activities. My daughter absolutely loves the school. I feel blessed having my child attend St Andrews.

St.Andrew Academy is a wonderful school! The staff is amazing! Im lucky to have 1of 4 children still at St.Andrews my other 3 children went from kindergarten to 8th grade at St.Andrew Academy! If you're looking for a safe environment, loving & caring teachers & staff look no further- St.Andrews Academy is where your child should be,they treat your children & us parents like family! I give them 5 stars!

I am a parent of a 5th grader and our daughter graduated from Saint Andrew's a few years ago. We are very pleased with their education. Our daughter attends Uconn and is doing wonderful she has memories that will last forever from being at Saint Andrew's from K-8th grade. Our son loves going to school. It hasn`t been easy on any of us during the pandemic but our school has did their best and we are very pleased of how everything has been handled so far.

St. Andrew Academy of Bridgeport is a great school. My son started 1st grade there, and he is a 4th grader now, and it is because of their standard and effort that was displayed over the years that I decided to enroll my daughter as well. St Andrew Academy provides a Christian based foundation along with a great academic curriculum. They encourage and nurture students while preparing them to be leaders and to succeed in life. The students are taught Catholic values, and it is also culturally diverse. The Principal and staff lead by example and are exceptionally friendly and maintain excellent communication with parents. They also provide before and after-school programs, which is immensely helpful to us as parents. The St. Andrew Academy school community is one of the best there is, and I am proud to be a part of it. I certainly recommend this school for any family who can appreciate excellence on every level from a school, you will not be disappointed.

My daughter Lauryn Boothe has attended St. Andrew Academy since the third grade. She absolutely loves the school and the staff. Her teachers are a great encouragement and the academic program is exceptional. The teachers are really engaging and strive to have the students maximize their potential in order to not only succeed successfully but exceed expectations. What I cherish the most is the school's expectations of the parents involvement. They know the importance of getting the parents involved should an issue arise, and do it in a very respectful, approachable manner. St. Andrew Academy brings out the best in every child by tapping into their individual strengths, while creating an environment of kindness, responsibility, and leadership. Our family is so grateful for our St. Andrew Academy family.

My daughter started St Andrews Academy in 2nd grade, prior she was in a public school. It was the best decision I ever made to put her in St. Andrews. There academics are amazing. My daughter has had her weaknesses and with in the last couple of years my daughter has bloomed and her grades are good. The staff and the principal Mr. Holmes are great, the communication with parents is very good. They have after-school programs also early drop off, making it Ver convenient for parents. I highly recommend St. Andrews Academy. My daughter has a few more years than off to high school, I will truly miss St. Andrews family when the time comes to an end.

St. Andrew has been great to my family and I. My daughter Laila has been attending the school since Kindergarten and I have no complaints. The teachers are very loving/caring. Most importantly, the communication is amazing. The class sizes are very small, therefore the teachers are able to give the students more attention. Educationally, my daughter has received help in her weak areas and has shown great improvement. In addition, she has been on the honor roll for the last few marking periods. I would definitely recommend St. Andrew to families who are looking for a good education for their children.
