  • At Southern Highlands Preparatory School, our goal is to prepare students to be academically successful, capable of transferring their knowledge and skills to new challenges, and confident in their ability to succeed. We offer a challenging and well-rounded academic curriculum. We integrate subjects together so that students can understand how they apply to everyday life, and thus be better equipped for the challenges that lay before them. In an active partnership with families, we strive to effectively recognize, celebrate, and develop each student's unique talents to the fullest extent. Academic excellence and commitment to the global community is emphasized. Children`s educational needs change as they grow from dependent learners in their K-5 years, where direct instruction and repetition are essential, to independent learners in grades 6-8, where opportunities for creative thinking and complex problem solving assist them in the transition to high school.

Southern Highlands is an amazing school, I went there for 3 or 4 years. I met my best friend there, even thought we don't keep in touch a lot, and she is always on my mind. I learned a lot there and with me living a few blocks away it made it convenient. their academic program is very advanced and well done. Also with them having a GATE program is amazing. My family donated a statue which is outside the last time I saw it, the Hoppers. I am Priscilla Hopper and i love your school, I hope it grows even more.
