School Notes

  • We are having a fun filled summer this year with many in house guests, family parties, and field trips! Our new private full-day Interactive Kindergarten program is about to start this fall. There is still time to enroll. Our Preschool and Prekindergarten are in for an exciting fall as they are also getting a new curriculum that will make education fun! Come and see what makes our learning center special!
We are pleased to announce that we have recently been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
  • The health and safety of the children in our care is our top priority! On site we have a Health and Safety Coordinator, Ms. Dana. She has had five years of experience in our learning center and is our expert on our policies and procedures to keep our center healthy and safe for the children and our teachers. It is her responsibility to conduct monthly fire and emergency drills, review topics at staff meetings, and complete monthly center safety checklists. She also follows a Health and Safety calendar that gives additional tips and trainings for staff. We have a facility technician who repairs or replaces any broken equipment. We have door guards on our doors to prevent pinching, use a single keypad access into the building, have three enclosed playgrounds, have a daily sign in and sign out for each child, and follow strict parent/guardian identification and child release policies. KinderCare really believes that a safe and clean facility create a foundation for the perfect learning environment.
