Like any first time parents, the decision to find the right day care is a difficult and stressful one, and certainly not something ever taken lightly. Two years ago, my wife and I started down a long road to find the perfect place for our then son-to-be. After countless hours of research and visits we found Rutherford Montesori School and knew almost immediately this was the place to entrust the care and early formative education for our son. On our first day, we were met with smiles, excitement, and an over abundance of energy from Miss Rosanna, Miss Rita, and Miss Diane. They walked us through the tear filled moments of leaving our 15 week old son behind for the first time. The bitter sweet moment became so much easier on us thanks to the welcoming environment, as we didn't feel we were leaving our child behind at a day care center, but immediately felt we were entrusting him to family. That sentiment only grew as the teachers and staff at RMS did become very much like family to us. Miss Rita and Miss Rosanna spent every day treating our child with all of the love and caring that they would have afforded to their own children. The look of excitement on our son's face every day when we walked in and he got to see them is a memory that will stay with us forever. To trust anyone else to care for your child during such a crucial formative time is asking a lot. And yet that trust was there immediately with RMS. The amazing care extended beyond the teachers who were with our son during the day to the entire staff in the afternoons and in all of the other rooms who also spent time with him. With the excitement that comes along with our young family moving buying a home for the first time and moving, the hardest part has, by far, been moving away from the amazing team at RMS. It's impossible to imagine ever finding another school where our son is as well cared for, as well educated, and as loved as what he experienced at RMS. So while it's difficult to say goodbye, it's incredibly important to note how amazing of an experience this past year has been, and that is something that will leave a lasting impression on our entire family forever. And for that, we cannot thank you enough. With love and sincerest thanks, Scott, Monique, and Everett Wells
