- I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to you and your family to learn more about Rohan Woods School. As the Head of School, I am honored to introduce myself and share with you the incredible educational journey that awaits your child. At Rohan Woods, for the last 87 years, we have believed that every child is unique and possesses untapped potential waiting to be discovered.
- We have three tenets by which we live: respect, responsibility, and leadership. Our mission is to provide a challenging, integrated Project Approach to learning that will prepare our students academically, socially, and emotionally. It will also provide a balanced education that will empower your child with knowledge, skills, and values necessary for success in an ever-changing world.
- Rohan Woods School uses Project Approach to provide experiences where children can utilize their core academic skills to learn about a topic of interest. We learned this educational approach through The Duke School in Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina, which is unique to the St. Louis educational market. Through Project, children have the opportunity to grow in critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, and communication. While students acquire solid academic skills at Rohan Woods, Project Approach ensures they know when and how to independently use these skills to facilitate research and work seamlessly in small groups. We see exponential growth in our students' ability to navigate the Project Approach process with incredible outcomes to share with parents and peers.
- Our dedicated team of professional educators brings passion, expertise, and genuine caring to our school daily. They employ innovative teaching methods, creating an engaging learning experience filled with challenges that will inspire your child to love learning. We embrace a student-centered approach, recognizing that each child learns in a different way. This fosters a growth mindset and empowers our students to become lifelong learners.
- As you do your research to choose a school that is a good fit for your child, I invite you to visit us and experience Rohan Woods School firsthand. Rohan Woods is an amazing school. Due to the pandemic, my children weren't introduced to the school environment, so when choosing a school my family was very selective. Rohan Woods checked all the boxes for us. The school has an amazing teacher-to-student ratio, it is a very inclusive environment (with 2 African American boys which was super important to us), it is a safe environment (physically, emotionally, and mentally, and the school makes each family feel welcomed. I truly love Rohan Woods and am super comfortable and confident in the school environment. My children have blossomed and learned so much.

I love this school so much, I have been here for 9 years now, and I am graduating this year. I love this school because of the teachers and kids.

We have been very happy with Rohan Woods. We went left for a brief period, because we lived in a great school district. However- nothing compares to RWS. So, we came back. My daughter has excelled academically as well as personally at this school. Staff and teachers go above and beyond. I always feel my daughter is safe and well cared for at the school. The other kids and families who attend Rohan Woods are all just genuinely nice people. I'm so glad that we came back! I'd recommend to any family, especially if your kids thrive best with 1:1 connections.

My daughter absolutely loves Rohan Woods, and have been enrolled for 4+ years. She is very comfortable, and views the school, her teachers, and friends just like family. As her father, I feel very connected to Rohan Woods, and have many opportunities to engage throughout the entire experience. Awesome!

Outstanding staff! I have two children at RWS, one in senior kindergarten and one in early childhood! Each teacher is perfect for the grade they teach and are passionate about education. This is a place that is inclusive, parents and students will feel at home immediately.

Really a great school. Very satisfied with the progress we've seen in my child in PK. Had a much worse experience in a different school last year so we're ecstatic we found Rohan Woods.

We love Rohan Woods School!! The is one of the best kept secrets in St Louis private schools. The staff and children are warm and accepting. You immediately get the warm and fuzzies when you walk in the door. The education is top notch , class sizes are small, and there is an amazing sense of down-to-earth community. This is the real deal.

I love this school, and am so sad to be leaving the nest next year. Honestly I couldn't ask for a more nurturing environment. One of the things I love most about this school is how each teacher knows each child on a personal level, every morning when I walk into school I am greeted by each and every student or teacher I see. This school has been more than a second home. I know that I am more than prepared for secondary school next year. You should defiantly look at this school
