Ramalynn Montessori Academy

At Ramalynn Montessori Academy, we believe that the core of successful teaching is by example"a lesson without words.
Our goal is to help each child to develop as a complete human being, adaptable to changes in time, place and culture.
At the same time, we foster each child's intelligence and courage to envision a better world and to cause transformation.
The Montessori philosophy lets children develop according to their individual interests and abilities, rather than limiting them to a grade level.
Ramalynn maintains a student-teacher ratio of no more than 15 students for every teacher.
This high standard allows our staff to focus on each child; no students slip through the cracks or just get by at Ramalynn.
We believe that with the right guidance, every child has the ability to reach his or her full potential.

Our children have such an incredible and broad world view thanks to the students, staff, and faculty at Ramalynn. This school doesn't just talk about diversity, it lives it. From the moment they first set foot in class as preschoolers to now as conversant middle schoolers, they are knowledgeable about current events in addition to the core subjects. Words could never express my gratitude for the devotion the teachers here gave to my children every day. My children feel worthy and strong because of all that you've invested in them over the years. Thank you Ramalynn school and community!

Ramalynn is a small school with a very large impact. Academics are impressive; sports are excellent, and the culture makes Ramalynn a school like none other. We, my partner and I, want our children to grow with knowledge, confidence, kindness, and tolerance. The students of Ramalynn are disproportionately represented in top academic and athletic honors, but their ability to weather defeat and help each other through loss is truly remarkable. If we are daring to achieve in our lives, we will all fail and lose along the way. The students of Ramalynn are taught, practiced, and demonstrate resilience. We also want our children to have a global appreciation and tolerance. Lack of prejudice is learned at Ramalynn by knowledge of the world and an appreciation for culture. The academic viewpoint is not "other cultures and people," but just culture and people. Approaching humanities with this mindset allows greater tolerance and appreciation for each other. I do not expect our children to be college or professional athletes, but Ramalynn has nurtured many young athletes, who have gone on to remarkable athletic careers. Mr. Krishna`s ability to connect, motivate and teach sports and how to be a team should be the focus of a master class for ALL coaches. Ms. Cassy incredibly recognizes and appreciates each child`s (yes EACH) gifts while nurturing curiosity and development. In Ramalynn Montessori Academy tradition, the teachers are a curated team from preschool through 8th grade, effectively educating to surpass standardized testing expectations, inter-school competitions, and real-world challenges. The multitude of incredibly successful and creative students and parents of high integrity is not on the walls or website. Word of accolades achieved by former students and parents is quietly passed on with genuine happiness for another person's success. Ramalynn`s value is not in being a scene to be seen or an association to "name drop." Ramalynn is invaluable as a school because it is designed to and succeeds in allowing every child to become the most they can be while having enough courage to support their classmates to succeed.

Our son is just entering his 7th year at Ramalynn. He started as a preschooler, and is now going into 5th grade. We could not be happier with the education he's received at Ramalynn. He's several grades above average in almost all of his academic subjects, but Ramalynn's strengths are so much more than academic. Their sports program is far superior to anything we''ve ever seen, with a focus on excellent coaching and strategic understanding of the sports. The fine arts program is also far above average. Overall, we can not recommend Ramalynn enough.
