Overview
Tallavana Christian School, formerly known as Gadsden Christian Academy was founded in 1971.
We have one class per grade and approximately 220 students in 4K-12th,with approximately 15-20 students per class.
The curricula used most are ABEKA and BOB JONES both produced by Christian Publishers.
Whether students continue their education beyond high school or immediately enter into the workforce, Tallavana Christian School is dedicated to the ideal of preparing students for success in life.
We do so with a combination of programs and atmosphere designed to promote the spiritual, intellectual, and social growth of each student.
Tallavana Christian School forms a partnership with the families of its students to establish a Christ-centered foundation upon which outstanding students can build a sucessful life.
Robert F. Munroe Day School was incorporated in 1969 and our first classes began in 1970. It was created to serve the private school educational needs of Gadsden County and the surrounding area.
Robert F. Munroe Day School provides its K-12 students with a college preparatory educational experience in a unique and beautiful environment in Gadsden County.
In an era of metal detectors and school resource officers in too many Florida schools, our students are part of a safe and supportive campus community where the teacher/student ratio is 1/9, and teachers are deeply involved in both classroom and extracurricular activities.
RFM offers a well-rounded curriculum, which is based upon strong Language Arts and Reading programs.
Munroe's course offerings provide an excellent background for post-secondary education, including dual-enrollment college and AP courses.
We offer AP and Honors courses in Math, Science, History, and English.
We have a broad-ranging History program with courses spanning ancient civilization through current events.
In addition to academic courses, RFM also offers a Fine Arts curriculum including both Visual Arts and Music.
