School Overview
Overview
A hidden gem in the San Fernando Valley, Little Acorns Grow Early Learning Environment offers preschool, kindergarten, and elementary studies. Bright, open classrooms and a large, fully enclosed, organic playground create a safe and inspiring environment for students to learn and grow. Taking inspiration from Montessori, Reggio, and Waldorf, Little Acorns Grow is a blend of educational philosophies, creating a fun, safe, and encouraging learning environment. We are not affiliated with any specific group or religion. Whether it`s reading a book, playing a game, working in a learning center, or improving skills on the playground, the activities our students encounter engage them in important skills such as language, math, science, dexterity, expression, imagination, and social skills. Our program is designed for children from 2 to 10 years of age. Spaces are limited so schedule an appointment to see our warm and beautiful facility today!
At Kirk O' The Valley School, we believe children are best prepared for life's journey when they embrace their own and others' individuality; gain a genuine love of learning; acquire knowledge and the ability to express what they know; and discover their meaningful place in the world.
Our balanced, nurturing approach to educating children, a Kirk hallmark since 1961, helps your child gain the confidence to be successful not just in school, but in life itself.
At Kirk O' The Valley School, ours is a child-centered philosophy with a "touch of realism." While our curriculum and assessment program align with California state guidelines, we maintain the flexibility to make sure that all children are successful learners.
We do not try to make kids fit a curriculum; our children are viewed, and valued, as individuals.
