Bridgeway Academy is a nonprofit education center serving children with autism and developmental disabilities.
Founded by speech-language pathologist Abby David and music therapist Erin Nealy in 2005 as Helping Hands Center for Special Needs, the organization`s goal is to help each child reach his or her highest potential.
Bridgeway Academy accomplishes its mission with a centered approach. ABOUT MARBURN ACADEMY Marburn Academy is an independent day school devoted to serving the educational needs of bright students who learn differently due to dyslexia, executive function difficulties, and attention challenges.
Marburn is accredited by the Independent School Association of the Central States (ISACS) and is one of only 18 schools in the nation to have its language instruction program accredited by the Orton-Gillingham Academy (OGA).

Annual tuition to attend the school program at Bridgeway Academy ranges from $30,000 – $35,000, with an average annual tuition of $33,380. Bridgeway Academy is an Ohio Department of Education accredited Autism Scholarship Provider which is available to any child aged 3-22 that has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Ohio’s Autism Scholarship program currently provides $31,500 per year per child in PARENT DIRECTED FUNDING. The scholarship reimburses Bridgeway Academy monthly and the parent/family is responsible for any amount due above that $31,500. Bridgeway Academy utilizes a program called FACTS to assist with monthly payments which are automatically deducted from the bank account of the family’s choosing and will work with each family on a comfortable payment plan and schedule. Bridgeway Academy does have need-based financial aid assistance available to families that qualify.
Financial assistance is available. Marburn Academy also accepts the Jon Peterson Special Needs and Autism Scholarships.
