Pikes Peak Christian School (PPCS) is an accredited coeducational private Christian school for children two years old through high school from all walks of life.
PPCS was founded as a ministry by members of the Eastside Church of Christ in 1981 to serve the Colorado Springs area.
Our Mission is to provide a quality, Bible-based education taught by Christian teachers in a safe and compassionate environment.
We strive to identify and develop the academic, social, and spiritual potential of each student in partnership with God and family.
We believe that God is the creator of all things.
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God. We believe God inspires and guides us through His Spirit and His holy word, the Bible.
We believe God created mankind, male and female, in His own image to fulfill His purpose which is to glorify Him.
Further, we believe in the necessity of a strong bond between the Lord`s Church, the Family, and the school in the education of the child.
The strength of that bond will allow us to help each child realize his or her greatest potential, to develop a love of learning, to think and act creatively, and to interact compassionately with others.
We consider the opportunity to teach children to be a sacred trust, which we accept with fervor and joy.
We Value Christ-centered excellence, Exceptional, personal academics, Christian character development, Caring, respectful relationships, Preparation for college and lifeWhat Makes Us Different? Student Focused, Christ-centered CurriculumAt PPCS your child`s education is not dictated by a "one size fits all" curriculum, or by test-driven mandates.
Instead, we use a variety of proven publishers and programs (both Christian and secular) to provide the most relevant and effective academic material at each grade level.
Our entire curriculum is presented through a Biblical worldview by our Christian staff in a way that challenges and enables students to think critically and develop important skills while encountering the incredible God who created and sustains everything.
Biblically Based, Meaningful Character Formation at PPCS we go beyond efforts to develop "good people" with basic character education.
We teach, model, and develop the timeless values and truths established in the Bible and lived out by Jesus Christ that impact the very hearts of our students.
We do so through mentoring, classroom instruction, regular chapel experiences, small groups, service activities, and accountability actions.
Through our partnering with parents, local churches, and the community, spiritual character development is not just a program but a way of life for our staff and students.
Whole Person, Whole Education At PPCS, education is not a singular objective or a fast track to the next phase in life.
We strongly believe that education is more than just academics because it involves the whole person heart, soul, body, and mind.
That is why we provide our students as many opportunities as possible to develop their social, physical, and emotional skills in addition to academics.
Through programs in the fine arts, athletics, clubs, and many other extracurricular activities, students can develop their God-given abilities, learn teamwork, and enjoy new experiences to help build their whole person.

We have a deep history with Pikes Peak Christian School. My husband was one of the first classes to start at PPCS and continued to grow with the school all the way through 8th grade. That was as far as they offered back then. When we had our kids he wanted them to attend here and we loved it so much we never left! I have one in elementary and two in middle school. We love the small classes and the teachers have a heart for educating our children both academically and spiritually. We are a small community of believers that value teaching our children God's word and how it can be applicable in today's culture. The curriculum is challenging and the small class sizes allow for more teacher/student interaction. My kids love their teachers and all talk about how they will one day graduate from Pikes Peak Christian School.

We found PPCS when my youngest daughter was in 4th grade. We transferred her into the school in December of that year and have not questioned that decision at all. She has succeeded in academics and athletics. She has served on the student council, participated in Drama, and has been able to take all kinds of electives like art, sewing, weights, musical theatre, and creative writing. She is able to develop close relationships with her teachers and they know her as a person. Our other daughter transferred in as a freshman in high school. She was able to succeed with a small class and was able to realize her talents and explore future opportunities. I feel the high school prepared her to succeed in her future studies, but more importantly, the staff, teachers, and admin helped shape who she is and who she wants to be.

We're so thankful for PPCS! My daughter is graduating from there this year and she has been at PPCS since we moved here when she was in 8th grade. She has excelled in academics, including honors and AP classes and was a member of the National Honor Society. She was more than prepared to apply to any college she wanted. She was also able to excel in her gift of art and had many opportunities to share her artistic talent with others inside and outside the school. She lettered in every sport and they even won Regionals in Volleyball twice! My favorite parts of PPCS are the bible classes/daily chapel and the small class sizes. The teachers obviously care about the students and are well educated in their field of expertise. They offer many fields trips and 2 big trips in high school to Costa Rica and Washington DC. We had planned on homeschooling my son for high school, but he wants to go to PPCS instead!
