Our son has attended nursery, pre-K, and summer camp at Our Saviour and is very sad to be leaving. This school has truly been a godsend for us, offering him an excellent early education at a price we could afford. This school has a friendly, diverse, family-like environment, which we really appreciate. We have found all of his teachers to be both caring and experienced. (We think he is entering his local PS G&T kindergarten program having been very well prepared.) His class time seemed to be an age-appropriate mix of play and traditional learning (phonics, letters, basic math). I also love the space: big, clean, well-stocked classrooms with plenty of high quality learning resources. But really, I think the most important thing for me is just whether our son is enjoying learning. I ask my son every single day whether he's had fun at school, and in his time at Our Saviour, he always, without fail, says yes. That is quite a track record considering he's been there 2 years!
During our son's time there, the school has restructured into a more focused early childhood center. We were at the school when the new principal came on board, and we have found him to be very sociable, enthusiastic, and a great listener. He was very willing to accommodate our needs and listen to parent ideas and input. I suppose I only have one suggestion--I like that the school makes a very regular effort for kids to play out back, but would love to see the school develop the outdoor play area. I hope they continue to attract students, resources, and parents who would like to help make this happen. We are looking forward to sending our younger son to this school when he is old enough for nursery. The school is truly a blessing in this community where good, affordable education can be very hard to find.

Love this school!! My daughter start at Nursery school last year and will be continue her pre-K there this fall. The teachers were caring and nurturing. Thumbs up for Ms. Farrah the Nursery teacher who''ll be teaching pre-K this year, she's awesome and my daughter love her so much.
Mr. C the principal is very friendly, not the "serious" kind of principal you ever had or imagine :)
The most important thing is because the school is based on religious fundamental, my daughter also learn a lot more than what i can teach her at home or what she gets in Sunday school.
In my experience with the parent, i got to befriend with the parent of my daughter best friends and we did a little meet up and play-date when the school is over.

If you want your child to have a good base for faith and for academics, then this is the school for your child. No matter what day of the week everyone in the staff is always willing to help with whatever inquiry you or your child may have. My child started in nursery and now moving into pre k. I''m excited to hear what she's learned on a daily basis. She has acquired an amazing vocabulary and is already showing her spelling skills. Our Savior is a safe, learning environment that is the perfect place for any parent who wants to have their child in the best of the best. I highly recommend it. It's affordable too!

Our daughter went to this school for nursery and will be starting Pre-k this fall. In a nutshell, the teachers are smart, caring, and super approachable. Miss Farrah is a sweetheart our daughter talk about her all the time. In addition, the admin staff in particular Mr C is amazing always smiling, very responsive and helpful. School has a play ground outdoor that everyone loves. Classroom are huge, bright and colorful and extremely clean. She loves her classmate they are all such amazing children. My daughter has had such a good experience at this school that she asks me daily, even weekends, if she can go to school! Now we use it as a bargaining chip when she does not want to listen to us. We''re truly blessed and lucky to have found such a school for our daughter. We are muslim and we chose to send our daughter here, it's good to teach little ones tolerance from a young age. They will grow up and shape the world and make it a better place for themselves to live in. I would wholly recommend this amazing school to all my closest family and friends.
The only drawback that we have noticed is that the parents of the kids at school are not friendly at all. Everyone kind of does there own thing even if there is a school gathering.

Great school. Very individualized education! Consistently, throughout the whole school year, my child did not have any problems waking up so early in the mornings to go to school. My 4-year-old boy knew that he was getting ready to school. A place where he has fun, learns, socializes and is his best! Even on the weekends he mentioned that he missed his friends and teachers.
The teachers and the whole school staff are very caring and nurturing. Student make lot of crafts, which help enormously to develop their fine motor skills, they have a great gym where they can do P.E. and the classroom are very spacious, clean, organized and full of developmental tools and stations (block, dress-up, puzzles, rug time, animals, dolls, dinosaurs, legos). After lunch student get to take a very short nap/or they quietly rest which help them to avoid crankiness when they back to home. The school and the staff are equipped to gather individual student's needs. I love my son's school. He loves it! As a mother, I am very grateful with Our Savior Lutheran School. I could not be happier knowing that my son is receiving a great education in a very safe and interactive environment. Thank you guys!

Our son had a great experience at OSEC -- after a half of a semester in Kindergarten with Mrs. Voltmer, he is a whole new student. He has a stronger interest in reading and is much more confident in Science and Math. They plan special activities for the children during holidays and have nice facilities. The location is convenient and they have parking for parents dropping off kiddos. We are thankful for their Christian-based teaching and their care for the children as part of their mission.
