OCA is a wonderful school and a great family! Our kids love their teachers and all their friends. They and we have made life long friendships all the while learning and getting prepared to be the best person they can be. OCA provides dual enrollment so our kids can get a head start on college AND foreign language is offered throughout their OCA career giving them a jump start on working in a global economy. Not only do they have the academics to create great people but each child is learning to see the world with a Biblical worldview, a must in today's chaotic world. We are so blessed to be an OCA family.

We started with OCA when our oldest daughter started kindergarten. We now have two children there (5th and 4th) and have been pleasantly satisfied with the curriculum, the teachers and staff, the opportunities that our children have for extracurricular activities, and most of all, the God-focused atmosphere.

What can I say? Where to start? Education is extremely important to our family. I spent countless hours from the time I was pregnant until my daughter turned age 3 researching schools (both public and private). My husband and I decided to enroll our 4-year-old at Oakwood Christian Academy. She is currently in the 2nd grade. We love the family atmosphere, the small class sizes, individual teacher attention, and most importantly, the biblical worldview. We are thrilled that our daughter spends time daily in God's word and seeks to know Him more. Our family loves OCA!

OCA is a wonderful school! Both of my children attended and they love it. The teachers are great and really care about the students - both academically and spiritually.

We have been so blessed by the ministries of OCA. We moved to North Georgia two days before school started. We were quickly visiting schools and were invited to come to the school Open House even though we had not enrolled or completed paperwork. Dr. Ray and Mrs. Garner made us feel so welcome and took so much time with us even though is was a very busy night for them. As a teacher, I was beyond impressed with OCA's academic standards and their genuine kindness to us was overwhelming and comforting to our girls in the midst of a huge change in our lives. Through this year OCA continues to impress us with their love for the Lord and the children they minister to. Our girls (9th and 5th) have felt welcomed by the other children and have always been included since the very first day. OCA is pushing our children academically in ways I have not witnessed in a private Christian school with strong standards and teachers who are overly equipped in their teaching craft. They will not settle for less then the best from each student. I love how every email communication we get is laced with Scripture and love for the children. My oldest daughter (9th grade) after the first month of school said to me, "Mom, I am so glad we have come here. I have watched these kids and not one of them is mean to anyone, I just don't get it, there is always a mean kid, but not here. These teachers and kids really act like Christians." I was shocked by this comment of my high school daughter who has been only in Christian education her entire life to see this school, their teachers and other students act in kindness and show her and everyone else the love of our Savior. My husband and I prayed for a school for the girls as we made this move and the Lord exceeded our thoughts and prayers in OCA, we are beyond blessed by their ministry.

My daughter has attended OCA for 13 yrs and will graduate 5/2013. We feel that she is well prepared for college because of her education attained at OCA. The Fine Arts department has allowed her to gain and strengthen her love for music, drama and band.
