- O`Gorman Junior High Schooltakes a tremendous amount of pride of being the link between elementary school and high school. Our professional and dedicated staff,along with outstanding parental support, help our students reach their potential in a safe, positive, and Christ-centered environment.We are dedicated to providing a well-rounded education for our students. Along with our core curriculum of social studies, science, mathematics, language arts, and theology, students also take exploratory courses such as speech and debate, art, and literature. O`Gorman Junior High School is fortunate to be able to offer four "Credit Before Grade 9 courses (Algebra I, Spanish I, German I, and Computer Applications)to 8th grade students who qualify. Additionally, students may also qualify to take other high school level courses at O`Gorman High School if they have met all qualifications and prerequisites.Each year,O`GormanJunior High Schoolstudents consistently score higher on standardized tests than public school students in Sioux Falls and the state of South Dakota. We are very proud of the high scores that our students consistently earn.
