The North Ward Center is one of the largest providers of Abbott preschool in New Jersey.
Since it was established in 1975, the Child Development Center has served more than 4,000 children.
We have more than 40 preschool classes that provide nearly 700 students with fundamental learning skills.
The North Ward Center provides, educational, cultural and meaningful social services to low and moderate-income families who reside in the greater Newark community.
In addition to our five institutions, our programs offer a myriad of opportunities, outreach and development.
