Mt. Hope/redemption School (Closed 2006)

Mt. Hope Lutheran School began in the fall of 1957 in the basement of the church with two Kindergarten classes and a plan to add one grade per year.
The first 3 grades were started in the fall of 1959 and near the end of that year new facilities were complete.
The fall of 1960 saw the beginning of 4th grade.
In 1961 a 5th grade was added and in 1962 a 6th grade was added.
