School Notes

  • Mt. Elizabeth Academy is a family-owned Christian preschool, pre-k, and daycare; founded and operated by master educators in Kennesaw, Georgia. The school is designed to offer a research-based Christian early learning program to the local community while incorporating play-based learning, STEM, and fine arts.We prepare our daycare and Pre-K students to excel as young leaders of tomorrow, combining our custom-designed curriculum with first class childcare. It is our belief that learning through play, experience, exploring, and creating are the work of the child and should be encouraged and cultivated. An emphasis on communication with parents allows us to understand how to best serve each child, and thus we can provide the best possible early learning experience for our students. We utilize the most modern preschool parent communication system (Brightwheel) for communicating with parents. This allows you to follow your child through the day, and get regular updates about meals, naps, diaper changes, and activities via photos and videos (only accessible to approved parents and caregivers).

I have so many wonderful things to say about Mt. Elizabeth. We enrolled with them in early 2019 after a lot of heartfelt consideration about leaving our previous daycare. We were seeking a smaller school that paid more attention to the students (our previous school had 19+ children per classroom, and it was simply chaos). I did my homework. Toured every school in the area, spoke with the directors extensively, asked as many questions as I could, and chose to go with Mt. Elizabeth. I have not regretted my decision once. My two children are loved by every teacher they've had, I have direct communication with the teachers and admin staff (our previous school did not encourage direct communication with teachers during the day), and they are learning so SO much. I feel known and heard by the admin staff; they have handled the COVID quarantine gracefully and empathically, and they pour back in to their families and students. I can't recommend our school more. It will be very sad the day my kids graduate out to kindergarten.
