We moved our kids from public school to MOG this year due to the pandemic. The best decision made. We are so happy with the challenging curriculum and how amazing everyone is. It's a night and day from the school we came from.

Mother of God School is such a wonderful, close-knit community, excellent academics, small classrooms, caring and loving teachers and staff, a wonderful principal who bends over backward for the school. It`s an excellent school! Our son has grown so much since he started there from day one in preschool wit Mrs. Barnes! We love it!

My daughter has made great leaps academically and socially. This school is amazing. Teachers and staff are great. Students are taught to be kind and good citizens. This school should be held up as a role model to other schools in the area.

I have three children in the school this year. 4th, & 2nd grades and a pre-K class. Each class is different but challenging, encouraging and formative. My children are learning manners, they are kinder, more polite because of Mother of God School. They are being pushed to learn and excel while doing it. This is our first year at the school, we are coming from MCPS. I feel that each of my school-aged children is being appropriately challenged where they are, to grow and learn. I didn't feel that way about MCPS.

We have heard many people say, "There's something special about that school." Our four children have all attended Mother of God School. Three have already graduated, well prepared academically for their high school and college education. But a solid education is only part of what is needed to navigate life in our world today. The faith of the students has been helped to be a sure anchor in what we all know is a stormy sea of challenges to morality in personal relationships and professional environments.

My daughter Meredith attends Mrs Krull's Pre k 3s Started out as only 3 days a week and in a month switched her to 5 half days, Meredith is so happy and eager to go to schools.. from Nov to Jan she is starting to speak fluently, well mannered and a want to do school work all the time.. I ask her Meredith; how was your day? "She responds" - my day was GREAT mom! I love that she is so happy in Mrs Krull's class.

This school is excellent. It helped me prepare for future schooling very well. When I got to high school, I found being in Honors classes, a year ahead in math, a straight A+ student, and the 9th grader with the highest GPA in my class easy. The teachers are amazing, and they have many extracurricular activities which are growing larger by the year. The classes are the perfect size, and the students who graduate from there emerge well-educated and well-grounded in their faith. However, if you are not religious or not a Catholic, it should be noted that the school does not force religion on anyone, even though it holds weekly Mass and has Religion class daily.
