Montessori Teacher Training Center For Tn/ncme

Montessori schools begin with a deep respect for children as unique individuals.
They work from a deep concern for their social and emotional development. Montessori schools are warm and supportive communities of students, teachers, and parents.
Children dont get lost in the crowd! Montessori consciously teaches children to be kind and peaceful. Montessori classrooms are bright and exciting environments for learning. Montessori classes bring children together in mixed age groups, rather that classes comprised of just one grade level.
Normally, they span three age levels. Children stay with their teachers for three years.
This allows teachers to develop close, long-term relationships with their pupils, allows them to know each childs learning style very well, and encourage a strong sense of community among the children.

My daughter started when she was 2 years old and very quickly moved into the Primary Room. We had done traditional daycares in the past and she progressed more in 2 months at HMA than she had at the previous daycare she was in. The teachers help teach independence, decision making and kindness. My daughter is so naturally inquisitive and this school fosters her learning appetite. We adore HMA and cannot say enough great things about the staff!

Highly recommend! "HMA changed my life." At HMA, our son was happier than he'd ever been and made incredible academic gains. He needed challenge and acceptance, and that is exactly what HMA gave him! The teachers know how to engage each child and create a community among their students. They celebrate intelligence and drive. When I observed the children at events or during classroom time, I saw happy, engaged, eager students learning and interacting with one another.

The best educational decision I have made for my daughter is to give her the opportunity to attend Hendersonville Montessori Academy. Not only do the smaller class sizes allow for more teacher interactions with individual students, but, the mixed age classrooms, discovery model of learning, focus on practical living, and specialized educational materials provide the highest quality of education which I can see reflected in my daughter daily. Hendersonville Montessori Academy has a very thoughtfully prepared environment with areas which are organized based on subject and this coupled with the freedom to move around in that environment provides my daughter with a level of responsibility in what materials she`s focusing on while the teachers ensure that all necessary components are touched upon as needed. My daughter remains excited to go to school each day and the eagerness on her face to tell me what she`s learned cannot have a value placed on it as it`s priceless to me. Whether she`s regaling me with stories about different mathematical processes that she`s either learned or mastered, what research she has conducted personally, what different language components she`s learning which assist with reading mastery, what creative projects she`s worked on which expand her imagination it`s something different and exciting each day and I get to share this journey with her. I`ll state it again the best educational decision I have made for my child is to give them the opportunity to have a high-quality Montessori education. If you`re in a position to choose this path I highly recommend it.
