Montessori Country School strives to deliver the best preschool and kindergarten experience possible.
Since its inception in 1971, the school has remained a non-profit with oversight from a parent-run board of directors.
Our classrooms are busy, productive places. Each child is allowed to move about freely and choose his/her own work, carrying it out to completion with great concentration and enthusiasm.
Our curriculum emphasizes the development of the whole child within a helpful, respectful, and cooperative community.
We help each child achieve his/her full potential by following the key premises of Montessori education: Children are to be respected as individuals who differ from each other.
Children possess unusual sensitivity and mental powers for absorbing and learning from their environment.
The most important years of growth are the first six years of life when unconscious learning is gradually brought to the conscious level.
MCS has set the standard for Montessori education. In addition to the Montessori school day, we have a variety of other schedule options from which parents may choose.
These include our excellent Aftercare program (dismissal options at 4:30 or 5:30 pm) and a recently added early drop-off option (8:00 am).
Please call for a tour, we would love to show you our program..
