MAGE is the only private gifted school in the City of Chicago.
We serve grades junior kindergarten through 12th grade and have rolling admissions.
Our school was founded in 2018 and is accredited by the State of Illinois Department of Education.
We focus exclusively on the gifted education, specializing in the highly and profoundly gifted.
We group students dynamically by ability for 5 core subjects our tiny muti-age classrooms.
Students still interact with same-aged peers in non-core classes.
Our core teachers hold masters degrees or higher. We provide individualized instruction with the right balance of rigor, without pressure.
We offer a large selection of enrichment programs as part of the school day, including Chess, Drama, Art, Music, Choir, Tae Kwon Do, Yoga, Dance, Math Team, Math Circle, Spanish, Hebrew, Latin, Japanese, French, Robotics, Certamen.
We have a large amount of hands-on learning as part of our work in creative, collaborative and cross-disciplinary projects.
We offer a number of scholastic competitions not just in STEM and there are a lot of community activities as well. The school day is 8:30AM-3:30PM.
