- For the past 150 years, Mars Hill has challenged its students to excel spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. Mars Hill students participate in a variety of formative experiences that allow them to practice genuine discipleship, sharpen their skills, and grow hearts for service. They are encouraged to use their talents to the glory of God and for the betterment of their communities. Mars Hill's excellent academic program is enhanced by daily Bible classes and chapel services. The school also includes a broad range of extracurricular activities, including athletic programs, fine arts, service organizations, and leadership opportunities.Since its reopening in 1947, MHBS has operated with full accreditation from the Alabama State Department of Education. Since 1971, the school has been fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), now known as Cognia. Supplementing its Cognia accreditation is Mars Hill's designation as a Cognia STEM-certified school. MHBS was the first private school in the state of Alabama and the first K-12 school in the Shoals area to attain this achievement.

As a former student, parent and now grandparent, I definitely see the benefits of Mars Hill Bible School.
Wonderful qualified teachers, support staff, and administrators.
Students are encouraged to be good members of their community serving in many ways.
There are many extracurricular activities for students to participate in and learn new skills.
The sports teams have won many awards through the years.
