We inspire joyful learning, honor each child, and build connections to empower all students to make a difference. At Marin Primary & Middle School we make education meaningful, while encouraging pride in self, respect for others, and enthusiasm for learning.
We honor and enjoy children's natural curiosity, competence and exuberance.
Using teams of teachers and educational methods tailored to how children learn best, we connect with our students, build trusting relationships and make learning relevant, memorable and fun.
Asking not "how smart is the child" but "how is the child smart," we guide our students to see their full potential, and we equip them to pursue it with passion and purpose. We value academic excellence, personal integrity and community action, and encourage our students to become informed, engaged and ethical global citizens.

I couldn't be happier with Marin Primary and Middle School. The teachers are wonderful and are really invested in and connected to each student. I would say that every person in the administration, faculty and student body knows every student by name. The community is wonderful, and there is a true sense of connection that binds everyone together. My son absolutely loves it and we cannot imagine ourselves anywhere else.

We have been at Marin Primary & Middle School for 7 years now and have both of our children attending. Marin Primary was our first choice over other Bay Area private schools due to it's small class size, incredible open while at the same time safe and enclosed campus, familiarity and relationship students are able to develop with their teachers and peers as well as easy access to the City and all of Marin. Top notch education, with top notch socio and emotional development. It really lends itself to the students developing a sense of ownership toward the school. Exceedingly happy!

MP&MS is a fantastic school. Our daughter transferred in and could not have been more welcomed into and embraced by this wonderful community of teachers, administrators and families. MP&MS offers an empowering and inspiring environment to learn, wonder and grow. The teachers at MP&MS are truly the most passionate and compassionate educators who care about their students as much as their diverse fields of expertise. The modern, open campus foster a safe, progressive, energetic environment for kids to grow - in and out of the classroom. Most importantly, we found MP&MS to be a joyful place and our daughter's smile at the beginning and end of every day said it all...

We are thrilled with our decision to send our children to Marin Primary & Middle School. We are particularly happy with the outstanding teachers who make learning fun and challenge each child; excellent leadership; and the newly renovated campus. My children love the academic program as well as Outdoor Education, the drama program, Projects Lab (Woodworking & more!), and PE. This is a place where children are asked to be the best they can be, and develop self confidence. There is a strong focus on multicultural education, community service and social emotional learning. We are grateful to have been accepted at Marin Primary & Middle School!!
