School Notes

  • Mapleton Montessori School is celebrating 44 years! We have a very dedicated, educated, nurturing staff of Montessori teachers and assistants, many of whom have been here over 20 years. We have two beautiful Montessori primary classrooms for 21/2-6 year old children and a wonderful, organic playground that offers opportunities for tending vegetable and flower gardens as well as multiple different areas for play: a big sandbox, a "messy" area for digging and building and a woodchip area with swings, slide, monkey bars geodesic dome and a trike path all around it. Each classroom has a deck so children are often seen working outside in good weather.
