  • The Honor Academy at Living Word is a unique curricular concept designed for students who desire academic rigor and the opportunity to pursue their passions in a particular academic area. Opportunities for students to personalize the Academy to fit their passions allow students to thrive. Tocomplete the requirement of an Honor Academies students must complete the 3 C's:

Honor Academy programs include: Health & Human Performance, Humanities, Music, and STEM.

Dual Credit Programs
  • Living Word partners with Grand Canyon University (online classes) and Concordia University Wisconsin (online & on-campus classes) to provide courses that students may take for dual high school and college credit. Living Word works with online schools for students who desire to take a course that is not offered at LWLHS during the given school year.
Winterim
  • Each year in January, students take a three-week intensive course of their choice, before the start of the second semester. Courses vary from year to year. Every class offers an interactive, hands-on learning environment, both inside and outside the classroom, with field trips and projects.

  • We provide families with financial aid a variey of ways. We will make it affordable for your family to attend Living Word Lutheran High School. We are also members of the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program and the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program.

Living Word is truly an incredible Christ-centered learning environment. The teachers are especially considerate, compassionate and driven to have all of their students succeed both inside and outside of the classroom. They have a love for Jesus and for carrying out their vocations as teachers. At Living Word, you are vigorously pushed to perform your best in all of your endeavors. The school's environment is one of positivity and friendliness. All students have wonderful opportunities to chase after their interests in areas such as sports, music and the arts.
