We've only been at Live Oak for one year, and we love it here! Our children are in early childhood classes (preschool and kindergarten); this school offers a loving, warm environment and has been inspirational to our entire family. Our children are learning beautiful and very useful life skills, that are absent in most school curricula-just a few of our favorites: dozens of wonderful songs and stories, learning sign language, learning Spanish, dance, sewing, knitting, wood working, gardening, baking bread, how to help with chores, and many more, in addition to spending plenty of time outdoors on this 40 acre property and attending the school's festivals and events. Our kids feel the excitement and magic of childhood every day here. As parents, we have learned so much from our teachers about child development, through parent meetings and a childhood development book club, which offer incredibly helpful + insightful ways to help raise grounded children. In addition, the school has facilitated ways for the parents in each class to truly know each other, there are parent evenings and several events to attend for the whole family. The teachers have quality experience, have such grace, confidence and professionalism, and many years tenure at the school. I can also say with confidence that the families we have met in this community are wholesome, kind, and true. It is a gift to be in a community where you know the families so intimately, it's not just drop off and wondering who your children are spending time with, no, you really know the families as closely as some of your closest friends, and end up becoming close friends with them too. For all of this, and several other reasons, we are grateful to be here, I cannot recommend Live Oak in Meadow Vista any higher than this.

We've had a wonderful early childhood experience with Live Oak. We've gone through SweetPeas with two kids and we are now experiencing the preschool for over a year, continuing into our second year of preschool. The teachers and staff are caring and considerate. We have Ms. Rose Yaman right now and she is a gifted and compassionate teacher. The staff truly value the parents and the child. They are gracious and kind and patient, everything you want for your kids. I've learned so much about the Waldorf philosophy and look forward to learning more. The children learn to care about the environment as well as their neighbors. They hike and climb trees, they get to freely play and explore in a safe setting. This private school is truly unmatched in many ways. I'm grateful we found this community and school for our children. This place is very special, the community is incredible!

My children attended Live Oak eleven years each, preschool through eighth grade. I believe it educated the fully, and prepared both of them to be critical thinking, creative, responsible, courageous , and compassionate human beings. They are both happy people generally speaking and they are both comfortable in who they are, willing to share their gifts and talents and willing to work with their challenges. Live Oak`s wonderful teachers not only taught my children, that loved them and supported them in the truest sense of community.

We love Live Oak Waldorf for the dedicated teachers all of my children have, who are committed to their whole human development. We love Live Oak for the community connection, my children are growing up with support from a village, everyone knows each other and tries their best to support each other. We love Live Oak for the no stress, joyful learning environment that is TRULY developmentally appropriate which gives my children confidence and TIME to really learn so that they enjoy learning and want to know more. Thank you Live Oak Waldorf for staying the course of a true Waldorf school, that comes along with all sorts of challenges that are not always easy. We are ever so grateful for what you give our children and our family.
