I am a student currently attending Live Oak Classical school for 6 years now, and it is completely worth it. For a first, the education is unbeatable. We have the highest education in all of Mclennan County, teaching Algebra 2 to the 8th grade. By your sophmore year, you are learning Pre-Calculus and have already taken Pre-Ap Chemistry and Biology. I know that at Vanguard, seniors learn Pre-Calculus if they choose. The point of Live Oak is that you are raised learning at a higher level of education. Even though the cost is high, you will not regret it, as the average student graduates with many more credit than at any public school and most private schools. They teach you to write and reason effectively, taking Logic, and Rhetoric several years each. With the classes being as small as they are, the teachers are able to grow close to you in ways that they would not be able to in a larger school. They mentor you, and truly love you. Even if you love the education, some still want to have access to a sports team, Live Oak offers high intensity sports teams. I would recommend this school to any one who wants to apply.
