Notes for Prospective Students

The Lawrence Woodmere Academy requires all applicants to submit a copy of their current transcript. All Lower School applicants must submit one teacher recommendation. Middle and Upper School applicants are required to submit two teacher recommendations (from academic classes only). Each applicant is required to attend a student visit day. Lower School applicants will spend a day in their current grade, and will be evaluated by the Lower School Principal. Middle School applicants will be assigned a buddy and will follow their schedule for the day. They will be observed by each course teacher and the applicant will be evaluated by the Middle School Principal. Upper School applicants will be assigned a buddy and will follow their schedule for the day. They will be observed by each course teacher and the applicant will be interviewed by the Headmaster. Middle and Upper School applicants are also required to take the SSAT.
